yeah, I’m writing again…already.

Bored.

I got these two forms in my e-mail yesterday. Apparently the forms nazi wasn’t happy with the formatting so she sends me the word doc. I open the word doc and print it to hardcopy, printed out great then I printed to PDF. Formatting was all off. *Sigh* I go in, look at the formatting and it’s formatted with many tab stops. *sigh* Acrobat doesn’t like this. So now I’m going through the two files, 1 four page form and one 17 page form and re-formatting them, properly.

It amazes me how many people can’t use MS Word. They use tab stops and things to indent. Hasn’t anyone ever heard of a hanging indent????

I fixed the first form and it printed to PDF beautifully. This is what I spend a lot of my time doing, fixing other people’s formatting problems. I don’t know how these people with their happy ass college degree’s can’t do this.

*looks around* heh

Anyway, we figured out what we’re going to do with my mom in Oklahoma. We’re going to go to Fort Gibson, Woolaroc, the Will Rogers Museum is actually in Claremore, we’re going there. An Aquarium and a gun museum. Fun stuff, I dunno how we’re going to pack it all in but she didn’t seem concerned.

I’m annoyed with our car. It’s made for like little people or some shit. First, I’m only 5’4 but the damn seat doesn’t go back as far as I like it. The seat belts are also really short. The problem with this is that the passenger seat has the Automatic Locking Retractors that are meant for holding car seats in place. Well, if I lean forward, at all!! the ALR feature kicks in and holds me back against the seat until I remove the belt, let it retract and then pull it back out again. I HATE this feature. It’s useless there anyway, car seats don’t even belong in the front passenger seat now do they????? ALR seat belts only belong in the back seat. I’m planning to pull apart the seat belt to see if I can disable it somehow. Some cars are equipped with switchable ALR/SLR seatbelts but Hyundai was too cheap to put that feature in it’s Accent. If it can’t be disabled I’ll have to see about seat-belt extenders so that it never comes out far enough for the ALR to kick in. I’m not riding for hours on the oklahoma trip without being able to move. God forbid I need something out of the glove compartment. *rolls eyes* I’ve been enjoying driving though b/c the drivers seat belt doesn’t have that “feature” I can lean all the way forward and reach anything I want with no worries. 🙂 Only problem driving is the fact that my legs are all cramped.

My package is in Hartford. It moved in the Wee hours of the morning, at 3am. 🙂 Maybe I can trust UPS 3-day select again. Last time I used it my package ended up in east bubblefuck, Florida. But the good news was that I got my shipping for free after that. 😉

Sophie’s belly is getting bigger and bigger. I can’t help but laugh when she tries to do things like clean her back toes. This morning she was struggling to get her back foot up to her mouth cuz her belly gets in the way. She’s hillarious now but still a pain in the ass. Our neighbor said he didn’t think Sophie was pregnant when he saw her a week or so ago. It was pretty obvious to me and now it’s pretty obvious to everyone. We’ll hafta have the neighbor over again to see her now. 🙂

ANYWAY, that was a nice break, back to formatting I go.

Are you finding homes for those kittens? 😉 The pre-tensioner is broken in my beater Corolla and once I’m strapped into my seat, I not only can’t move, I can barely breathe. How annoying!
