Sophie’s Vet Trip and Pictures
Sophie’s trip to the vet went great. Boy did she give ’em hell. They took her out to draw blood for the Feline Leukemia and Feline Aids test and she meowed as loudly as she could.
The vet told us she’d call us within the hour if anything bad showed up on the test. If she didn’t call by 6 we were free to let Sophie meet the other cats.
Sophie was anxious to get out of that crate so when 6pm rolled around we let her out. She strolled out tail up and checked every thing out. Sally followed her around a bit and seemed put off by the fact that Sophie was not at all afraid of her. Sally doesn’t seem sure of what to do now. The other cats don’t want anything to do with Sophie. Casper whined and hissed at her and Kenny looked down the stairs at her and wandered off. He’s currently asleep in his tower. Sophie is sitting just outside the office door here upstairs. Vicki was just looking out the doorway at her. Everyone seems pretty annoyed by the new addition. I think she’ll fit in well though, she’s a bold little kitty. Sara is crated right now and Sophie went in to Sara’s room and poofed all up at Sara. Sara looked out at her like “What the hell is wrong with you?”
Anyway, the vet didn’t seem to know 100% if Sophie was pregnant but said it looked like a possibility considering the size of her mammary glands. She said she thought she might have felt something but that Sophie had a lot of stool in her colon so she couldn’t tell for sure. Yummy. Anyway, they gave her the vaccinations that they could and we’ll have to take her back for the rest if she’s not pregnant.
So now on with the pictures, the light is really shitty in our house so the pictures aren’t that great but anyway.
This is the first place Sophie went, through the kitchen and into the dining room where she found cat toys!!

Sophie and Casper:
Sophie laying on a blanket in the dining room. She likes to lay on cloth and knead and suck it, that’s what she was doing here. She was obviously weaned too early:
What a cute cat! Could be she’s already had kittens that are weaned. Caspar is quite the cute cat. Is he deaf?
