Okay, well I picked up my allergy meds and can you guess how much they came to? $90.00. EEP!!! A wave of panic rushed over me when she read me the total, then I rememebered I had credit free on my amazon card. *sigh* I will not be refilling the clarinex, it’s $70.00, not in my budget, if my tinnitus is related to my allergies, which I don’t think it is then uh, it’s not worth 90 dollars every 60 days to me. Apparently the insurance company doesn’t do a good job covering allergy medicine. They covered not even half the price of it. They covered $57.00 and I had to pay $70.00. They covered $38.00 on the Flonase and I only had to pay $20.00.

On top of that there’s something wrong with our fucking car. We’re taking off work to take it to the fucking dealership tomorrow. Lets all hope it’s covered by the warranty otherwise we’re fucked.

Now, if I may be excused I’m going to go stand in a corner and scream.

insurance companies suck. they figure that claritin will work for everyone and now because it’s OTC, they won’t pay shit towards allergy meds. in my opinion, anyway. randomed across you. scream for me, too, okay? *lol* *hugs*

It’s because drug companies are evil and greedy. That’s why it cost so much. Does over-the-counter Claritin work for you? Don’t take the extended release formula–it can raise blood pressure.
