Veggie Sprouts and Other Things

I was just outside taking “baby pictures” of our plants. *grin* I’m going to have a hard time actually eating our vegetables. I get attached to things I grow. Matter of fact, the wheat grass I grew for the cats is prime for the munchin but I haven’t been able to give it to them yet cuz I’m attached to it. Dammit I grew something, hehe! I took a picture of it, so maybe I can give it to them now:

And this little beauty is going to grow up to be catnip:

Not exactly baby pictures, but here are the Daisies that sprout up by the driveway every year, at least I guess they’re daisies, they look like daisies to me:

These are the white and peach irisis, I can’t remember what colors are planted out there from one year to the next so I’m always surprised. I suck, lol:

Now on with baby pictures. Here’s the veggie garden, with plants this time:

Here’s a small tomato plant, gotta stake these soon. That’s a pepper plant in front of it and all around it is fucking grass. I hate grass sometimes!:

Here’s a pumpkin sprout:

And corn sprouts, nice “row” eh? We can’t plant straight apparently.

Other things have sprouted too but they weren’t as easy to photograph.

This is the part of our yard over by the chicken coop. See, that’s the chicken coop door. I love this part of the yard. It’s full of treasure’s. This was where the people who lived in the house back in the day used to throw their trash. We’ve collected all kinds of neat old glass bottles and jars and things down there. I intend to clean those up and set them around the house on the old beams and stuff. Gotta be careful though as I ended up with some nasty poison ivy from being down there in January. No one could believe I had poison Ivy in January but I did. 🙂 Touch the vine any time of year and you’ll catch it. Plus I’m HIGHLY allergic to it.

Some of the ladies came around back to see what I was up to, from left to right that’s Wanda, Daisy and I think the red one is Ruby, hard to tell the red one’s apart from that far away though:
