Well, since I was out sick yesterday I had the option of milking it and staying home today too. But I didn’t. I figured today would be nice and quiet, being good friday and all, and so far I’m right. My co-worker and boss are both out today. Now if 2 of the other people that sit on and around my row are out today I’ll be in heaven.

I have this annoying case of Tinnitus, I can hear my heartbeat in my left ear. I’ve been trying do decide if I should go back to the doctor or not. Last time I was there he told my my eustation tubes were plugged and that the antibiotics he was giving me for my bronchitis would fix this as well. It didn’t. I’ve tried everything. I have like chronic congestion as well so I tried nose drops and shit to clear that out hoping to drain my eustation tube that way. I’ve cleaned with hydrogen peroxide and even tried ear candling. I’ve done a ton of research and it seems most cases of women in their 20’s able to hear their heartbeat in their ear have high blood pressure. *whine* I can’t really get an accurate blood pressure reading at the doctor b/c I have this thing where I get nervous at the doctor. I can’t control it at all, I can be going for something as simple as having eczema looked at and I’ll be shakin in my boots, it’s silly. I swear I’m worthless. I guess I’ll keep going with the eat healthy/excersize thing and hope it cures it. If after a couple months of that I still have it I guess I’ll go to the doctor again. Tinnitus can drive you nuts though, it makes it really hard to fall asleep. I used to love silence but now when I’m somewhere quiet all I hear is thump thump thump thump thump repeat ad naseaum. So now I actually prefer noise. 🙂 I visited a message board for people with chronic tinnitus and learned that most of the people on there have considered suicide to silence the noises. That’s how obnoxious it can be. At least mine isn’t a high pitched ringing or something and my hearing isn’t at all affected.

Sara pissed me right off this morning. I don’t have much for patience to begin with and at 6am I have absolutely no patience and I have one hell of a temper. She shat in her crate last night twice so when we went downstairs it had to be cleaned. Hubby took her out and let her do her business before he cleaned the crate. While he cleaned Sara got in her “I’m about to shit” position on the rug in her room so I yelled at her and got her the hell out of that position and took her ass outside where she proceeded to screw around and not shit. I stood out there in the cold for what seemed like forever and all she wanted to do was play. Here I am all saying loudly “Dammit dog, you were about to shit on my fucking rug and all you can do is play and eat shit off the ground”. She’s obsessed with chewing black walnuts, not the best idea as they can turn your mouth a funny color. So I drug her ass back to the house and yelled in to hubby. “This fucking dog won’t shit”. Hubby sounded surprised and took over. He finally got her to shit. I can only hope the neighbors didn’t hear me cussin like a sailor. 🙂 I don’t think I ever want another puppy. I don’t have much patience for things you can’t reason with. I damn sure can’t ever have children. If I want a baby anything from now on I’m sticking to cats. Our next dog will be a rescue from somewhere that’s been tested around cats, perhaps yankee golden retriever rescue. 🙂 Having a puppy is a hell of an experience and she’s darling but boy is she trying in the patience department.

I get my temper and lack of patience from my dad. My mom is pretty patient but don’t push her limits. My dad on the other hand gets bitchy waiting in line. I hate that I have some of my dads impatience traits because my hubby is slow ass. We’ll be getting ready to go somewhere and I’ll be standing by the back door tapping my foot while he’s (as I see it) screwing around. My dad does the same thing only he sits in the car and gripes to whoever happens to be in there with him. My hubby likes to take his time whereas I like to c’mon lets get moving. It’s no wonder I have ulcers and hubby doesn’t. I need to mellow the fuck out. I’m always wound up like an eight day clock. 🙂

*chuckles* I’m sitting here watching my betta Clyde. He’s so cute, he likes to swim around and look for things to eat in his marbles (I have marbles instead of gravel in the bottom of his tank, they’re easier to clean and they don’t go down the drain). He’ll swim all around looking, occasionally digging his little head down in between them. I love these fish.

Our Maine Coon cat Vicki seems to be coming out of her shell a little more. She’s been driving me insane. I swear if cats can have AS Vicki does. She spends 99.9% of her day in the office hiding from the other cats either on my desk or in hubbys chair. The other .01% is spent in the bathroom doing her business or eating. Lately though she’s been coming out a little more. For the longest time she wouldn’t get down and play with the toys in there or use any of the cat towers but she’s started using the cat towers this past week and sleeping on the floor where she’s more vulnerable. It makes me nuts because I know if she’d just assert herself a little bit the other cats would quit picking on her so much. If she’d just whack at them once or twice they’d lay off but instead she’s the weakling that gets picked on because she turns and runs. It’s looking like she might start standing up for herself a tiny bit. The office seems to have become her territory and no one picks on her in there anymore. YAY!! She’s such a sweet cat, I hope she keeps up with the progress. I’d love to have her feel comfortable in the whole house, she’s so awesome and I’d like to have her around me more. Not just when I’m at my desk in the office.

Oh yeah, we apparently had a cock fight yesterday. Hubby went outside and found our roosters were bloody. They’re fine though so no worries. Our big rooster was picking on the little rooster. Dammit, these guys have lived together for nearly a year now with no problems. My guess would be that our little rooster was trying to take over the dominant role or something and got his ass beat. If this happens again we’re going to try to give away the big rooster to someone that just wants ONE rooster for their hens. Barred Rocks are supposed to be gentle roosters but this guy is an asshole. He’ll stand up to my hubby if he tries to touch him. I don’t really want to give him away, he’s fucking cool with his attitude but if the cocks keep fighting (giggles) he’ll be the one that has to go.

It’s been an interesting week. Hopefully we’ll have a fun weekend. I forgot about easter so I don’t know if we’ll actually make it to the beach with Sara this weekend. Might not be until next weekend now although I’d like to say fuck easter and go since I don’t celebrate easter anyway. Easter and xmas are two holidays I could do without. Saturday we’ll probably be installing the sound dampening material and carpet in the Accent since hubby got that in the mail yesterday. That’ll be cool, I’ll take pics of our remodeled car. 🙂

Holy shit, I just noticed I’m down to 244 characters so I’d better end this.

Haben Sie ein großes Wochenende!

I will, thank you! Don’t the roosters wake you up in the morning? When I lived on Chicago’s north side, somebody in an apartment too close to mine had a rooster than crowed every morning at precisely 5:14 a.m. Yeah, I know–a rooster in Chicago. Don’t ask me why. But that stupid thing annoyed me so much I almost called the Animal Cops; I’m pretty sure having a rooster in Chicago isn’t legal.

Have a great weekend? But that’s just a guess…
