The weekend was fun but way too short if you ask me. 🙂 But then again weekends are always too short. 🙂

I’m really sore from yesterday. We washed and waxed the car. My chest and thigh muscles hurt. Guess I didn’t use those much all winter eh? I hate the winter. The rocks in the sand they use on the roads have caused a lot of damage to our car. We’ve got two or three places where the windsheild glass is chipped and several spots of chipped paint on the car plus some dents. If I could afford it I’d get the damn thing re-painted. I can’t stand dings and chips on my car. At least no one has opened their door into it yet though. It always pissed me off with my 280ZX. I’d get the damn thing painted and some asswipe would come along damage it. I swear it’s cursed. I parked way the fuck out in parking lots and some idiot would park right next to me. I’ll never forget the time the bible class teacher (I went to a christian high school) took us out to walmart for some reason and he swung his car door open right into the car next to his. Mind you I had never spoken to him much, I hated him so I only spoke to him when it was totally necessary. Three of my classmates were in the car too and I looked up at him and said sharply. “Y’know, you’re the reason people like me with nice cars have to park their cars way the hell out in the middle of no where and walk a long way to get anywhere”. He didn’t say a word back. Rocks flinging up are one thing, negligent idiots that damage cars are another.

So anyway, back to the weekend. Sara had a blast on Sunday. We took her down to the pond. Our pond used to be so nasty you couldn’t swim in it thanks to the person that owns the other half spreading manure on his yard thus adding bacteria to the water. It seems to be clearing up now though. The water was surprisingly clear. She had an absolute blast in the water. I’m so happy she’s a water lover. I was hoping to get a dog that’d love to play in the ocean and stuff. We’ll have to get her some retreiver toys that float. We can toss them out and she can retreive them. Maybe next weekend she can play in the water a bit more. Hubby didn’t want to get wet and we only have a six foot leash so that’s as far as she could go. I’ve got a thirty foot leash on order though that should be here no later than thursday.

Casper is so much happier now. I think he’d prefer it if we kept his hair short year ’round. He can actually groom himself. 🙂 He doesn’t even try to groom when his hair is long so he has to have the occasional bath from us. He gets icky. It was obvious that he was enjoying his ability to groom yesterday as we found a lovely hairball had been puked up on our bed when we went to get in. He made sure to get the sheets and the comforter for us so we’d have to change and wash both. Funny how I was just thinking Sunday morning that the comforter was probably due for a washing.

Well, people are starting to walk by my desk more frequently now. I should probably get started pretending to work.
