Snow

15 days till we get our puppy. 🙂

It’s snowing, like crazy, did my company let us stay home? Of course not. Even in the wake of blizzard-like conditions I must get my ass into work. Lets see if they hold us until 3 AGAIN.

So, dinner on Friday didn’t go as planned. Hubby had planned to take me somewhere really nice but they were booked so we ended up going to the Olive Garden. It was yummy although my pasta e’ fagioli is better. 🙂

After dinner we went to the bank and grocery shopping, how romantic right? hehe, well, you gotta do what you gotta do. 🙂

Saturday we went out and bought more puppy supplies. We got a purple collar and leash set. 🙂 awwww. A doggy seatbelt that doubles as a halter, it’s all nice and padded with fleece. We got her a fuzzy soccer ball, a puppy kong teether, another dum-bell like teether and a duck that honks like a duck. 🙂 We also picked up a brush and some puppy shampoo. I’m going to poke around and see if we have any extra old blankets to give her, if not I’ll have to go buy her one of her very own. We got puppy sized food and water bowls already and hubby priced out the dog food on Sunday. We’ve got some tennis balls around somewhere as well. I swear this is like preparing for a baby. I also want to get a basket for her to put her toys in. Or um, perhaps for me to put her toys in. 🙂 We’ll see if she takes an interested in “put your toy away”. hehe

They’re sawing above my head today so I really hope I get to go home soon. There’s also nothing decent being served in the cafeteria today since ‘most’ companies are closed. Which means if we want food we’re stuck walking in this snow so I hope they let us go home by 11 or 11:30.

I’m hoping it snows enough to close work tomorrow. I want to build an igloo. 🙂 Strange as that may sound I’ve always wanted to build an igloo and 18-25 inches spread out on our 12 acres should provide us with more than enough snow to build an igloo. 🙂

Anyway, I’m off, my left wrist is very sore today and typing isn’t making it feel any better.

**update** We get to go home at noon. 🙂 woohoo. 🙂
