19 days till we get our puppy. 🙂

*sigh* I’ve had it. I’m bringing in my webcam to work. I’m getting fed up with people using my desk and leaving it messy. I tidy up my desk every night before I leave so that when I come in first thing I’ve got a fresh start and am ready to go. The only time I don’t clean up is when cleaning and and getting out a project would be more trouble than it’s worth, like if it’s a really big project with lots of papers. Anyway, I come in this morning to find my headset out of place. My sheet of paper that has extensions on it has been taken off my wall and is leaning over my phone T-pin still sticking out of it. My inbox is turned sideways and moved out. This is getting OLD. Honestly, it doesn’t bother me if someone uses my desk, I understand that sometimes remote employee’s come in and need a place to sit and I leave at 3 so my desk is open while people are still at work. Fine, use my desk but clean up after yourself. When I leave someone’s desk, or anywhere for that matter you won’t even know I’ve been there, that’s how it should be. I shouldn’t have to come in first thing in the morning and clean up after someone else. It’s really getting on my nerves and I’m going to bring it up with my boss today, maybe she’ll let me put up a sign. I had a sign before on the outside of my wall because people were actually walking by and banging on the outside of my cubicle wall with their fists or tapping on it with their fingers. The sign technique fixed that problem and had people coming in saying things like “Oh, I’m so sorry, I’m one of the people that’s been doing that, I didn’t ever think about the fact that you’re trying to work in there”. DUH! Maybe I can put up a sign that says something to the effect of “You can use my desk but please leave it as you found it”. Honestly though, I shouldn’t need a sign. THIS IS COMMON SENCE PEOPLE!! UGH, people get on my nerves.

And I thought I wouldn’t have anything to write about today. 🙂
