‘Nother Puppy Update

Hubby finally got an e-mail from the breeder and I was right this is the litter we get a puppy from. Yay!!!!

The breeder said that they’ll contact us in a couple weeks when the puppies are 4-5 weeks old and we can come see for sure which one we want and stuff. I’m pretty sure we got the first deposit in so I hope we get first pick. I’m hoping to pick the one that’s the most laid back and easy-going. We’ll see though, the breeder breeds specifically for temperment and handles the puppies a lot so they should all be pretty good.

We’re really excited and I guess it’s time to start buying supplies, cleaning the house and puppy-proofing. Our habit of leaving clothes, grocery bags, shoes, and stuff like that all over the place is going to have to end. 🙂 We’ve got tubs for the shoes and stuff by the back door in the kitchen, where the puppy will be living so we’ll have to get used to actually using the tubs. 🙂 If nothing else maybe the puppy will help us keep the place cleaner, at least near the floor, we all know how much puppies love to chew. 🙂

Anyway, Mid-March we’ll be the proud owners of a golden retriever puppy. Woohoo! 🙂
