Last Update: October 10th, 2012.
I haven’t been writing many movie reviews this year, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been watching movies. Quite the opposite as a matter of fact… I’ve seen 40 new movies in theatres this year so far and a lot of them have been rather good.

Not bad so far for 2012, and I plan to see a few more before the year ends out. My brother wants to see Dredd and Taken 2 within the next few weeks. (Update: Saw both and they were rather good!)
I would like to see Cloud Atlas for my birthday, which is the new movie by Tom Tykwer (Run Lola Run) and the Wachowskis (The Matrix). Whether or not will depend on fiances. This amazing movie which has been getting raves since its debut at Tiff opens two days before my birthday so I plan to see it on my Birthday, which will be fun.
In November I will make an effort to at least see Skyfall, which is the new Bond movie. The December movies on my hit list are Django Unchained and Les Mis, both which happen to come out on Christmas Day.
So that’s what I’ve seen so far on the big screen this year. By far the best movie of the year so far is Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom. If that movie doesn’t get one of this year’s ten Best Picture slots, that will be a enormous mistake.
So what’s the best movie you’ve seen this year so far?
Peter
wow you’ve seen a lot of movies!
