And entry about poetry…

Over the weekend, I decided to release a small collection of poetry. I weeded through a lot of work that I had done over the last two decades, picking only the greatest hits and then putting them online for people to buy a paper copy of or download to their e-readers. Here is the cover to my newest work:

So there it is… a small book of poems written by yours truly. What the book lacks in quantity, it more than makes up for in quality, I can assure you. The best part is since posting the book up on Saturday, I’ve sold over 50 copies! On Smashwords, my book is currently #1 for sales in poetry. This is so awesome, and no one was more surprised than me.

I’ve sold a few copies over the weekend so far and I’m quite pleased with it so far. I plan to finish and post at least two more books within the next month, especially since I don’t have the kids as much as I did over the summer… so I have oddles of time and no excuses.

So things are a little more quiet over here and I prefer them that way. I miss seeing the little guys everyweek, but I’ll be all right cause I get them this weekend and that will be fun.
