Update on Mother….

I got a call from Dad earlier today. Mom has been released from the hospital and is resting at home. To help with her recovery, one of my Mom’s best friends, Marion, has flown into Nashville from the Hammer to stay for a week or two and help her at home. Marion is a nurse, so having her around to help would be super awesome. My Mom is a retired nurse so that’s how they knew one another. So she’s got lots of help and is doing well right now.

It’s going to take her a while to recover from the surgery but I’m glad to see she was doing well enough to be released. I was worried she was going to be in there a lot longer but she seems to be doing all right.

I haven’t talked to her at all since she went in for surgery, so I’m thinking later in the week (likely on the weekend) I will give her a call and talk to her. I will have the boys here over the weekend too so they will enjoy talking to Grandma as well.

I’m going into Toronto for a big day tomorrow, so I am going to bed early. I will be posting a very interesting entry about what I did tonight but I don’t have time to write about it right now. It was a very facinating night but I’ll get into that when I get back from T.O… so everyone have a great hump day and I’ll be back tomorrow.

Until then, take care!

Peter

My mother got out of surgery yesterday herself. I’m about to head off to Topeka to help take care of her for the weekend so she doesn’t strain herself during the recovery time.

Wishing you Mum all the best and a speedy recovery. Everyone is being very enigmatic on OD at the moment, I hope you had a great time in Toronto.
