Letter writing week: An Intro…
Desperate for something to do, I have decided to make this letter writing week. Every day this week from Monday to Friday, I will write one letter and fire it off to someone to express my happiness or disappointment in them or their product.
I will attempt to refrain from making every letter one of complaint, but sometimes I can’t help it. I love to give someone a good, clean, polite telling off. Starting today I am going to write one letter a day, and I will not only mail that letter to the person its intended for, but I will also post those letters here in my diary for all to read. Not all letters will be hand written; some will be emailed or sent to various companies through their official website.
If you guys would like to participate with me, I challenge you to do the same. Raise your voice, be heard and send out those letters. Whats the worst that could happen? You will get no reply and you will be right where you stand right now. It’s a case of nothing to lose but a few minutes of your time and plenty to gain.
No letter is too big or too small. Just have your say and make an attempt to be heard. No one will know about your happiness or lack of it if you do not express yourself. So that’s what I’m going to be doing for the rest of the week, posting one letter a day until Friday. I’ve got a huge letter that I plan to post on the final day. I look forward to posting that one online.
So that’s the plan: it doesn’t matter if it’s a compliment or a complaint. Stand with me and be heard!
Peter
I think you should do the same thing but to people in your life as well.

I like that idea, but I don’t think I’m there just yet. But I will save that idea for the future!

Writing to companies is always worth it. Their PR people all know that for every person who takes the trouble to write, there are thousands of people with a similar opinion who don’t write, so one letter CAN make a difference. As a bonus, I receive free stuff from the companies at least 50% of the time.
