My Anniversary gift…

Today I took the kids down to the local ticketmaster that is located at the gate of Copps Coliseum to pick up some tickets. I packed up the kids (giving Leah an excuse to get out of the house) and ran down to the ticket booth with hardly any time to spare. Tickets went on sale this morning for the Air Canada Center (ACC) in Toronto. I got my tickets at 10:09am, and the manager told people at 10:12am that the show was sold out. When I got to the gate I just asked for the top two tickets beside each other still left. He said only one set left in the whole arena, and it was $60 a seat for upper bowl. Beggers couldn’t be choosers, so I swiped the card and picked up this for Leah:

That’s right, on October 2nd, Leah and I are going to see KISS. Leah is very excited. And today happens to be our 11th Wedding Anniversary… so it was great timing. I told her that due to a lacking of funds we might have soon, this counts as her Anniversary, birthday and also my birthday gift since I get to go too.

Can’t wait, this is going to be a killer show…
