Welcome to 2009 Survey…
1. Will you be looking for a new job?
Yes, the quest will continue into the new year.
2. Will you be looking for a new relationship?
No. I have enough of that stuff.
3. New house?
Even if I had the money… I wouldn’t trust this market.
4. What will you do differently in 2009?
Probably change some habits, live a little better.
5. New Years resolution?
– need to lose a few pounds
– change to a more healthy eating habit
– exercise a little more, get in shape
– be a little easier on everyone, with a few exceptions
– keep working on my goals to write and act, I ain’t giving them up for anyone.
6. What will you not be doing in 2009?
The same I did last year: looking for work, acting and writing.
7. Any trips planned?
None. Unless someone foots the bill I’ll be staying in the Hammertown, Toronto area for the entire year.
8. Wedding plans?
Zero. Leah plans to make a trip to see a friend tie the knot on the island, but I’m not going.
9. What’s on your calendar?
Refer to question 6, that’s all I plan to do.
10. What can’t you wait for?
To find an agent, that will be another quest that will continue.
11. What would you like to see happen different?
I’d like to catch a break. This might be the year, but forgive me if I don’t hold my breath.
12. What about yourself will you be changing?
Go back to answer five for this one too.
13. What happened in 2008 that you didn’t think would ever happen?
I started to act again. I pretty much thought that would never happen again after going on stage in college. It felt good to do this one on film, and I did a few short films and a feature. This guy got bit by the acting bug and I’ve got the fever. It’s not going away anytime soon.
14. Will you be nicer to the people you care about?
Depends on my mood and if they’re nice to me too.
15. Will you dress differently this year than you did in 2008?
Not sure, I usually work with whatever is in the closet and whatever’s clean.
16. Will you start or quit drinking?
I’m a very light drinker. Got even lighter when the kids were born… so I don’t have to worry about that issue. I can’t afford to be any more heavy.
17. Will you better your relationship with your family?
Not sure, last year a lot of bridges got torched. I’m not exactly eager to repair them…
18. Will you do charity work?
I’m eager to do more charity work. I’m eager to go back to the Blogathon this year for a new charity, and will try to do other events as well.
19. Will you go to bars?
Odds of this happening are slim to nil.
20. Will you be nice to people you don’t know?
Depends on the situation, but most of the time that will be a positive.
21. Do you expect 2009 to be a good year for you?
I’ve got hope going into 2009. Jan 20th is going to be a good start… and I’m hoping all the good karma will help going forward.
22. How much did you change from this time last year until now?
Last year I was super depressed, not knowing if I would be around by now. Waiting for an MRI to tell me if I needed brain surgery. Now I’m doing better health wise but I am bitter about a lot of things. I’m working with a therapist about it, but it’s taking time.
23. Plan on having a child?
Two is enough right now… but I’ll get back to ya.
24. Will you still be friends with the same people you are friends with now?
I’d like to say yes, but we’ll see when I take this survey next year.
25. Major lifestyle changes?
I’m hoping if # 5 is a complete success!
26. Will you be moving?
Not if I have anything to say about it!
27. What will you make sure doesn’t happen in 2009 that happened in 2008?
A lot of things, to many to mention… some too personal.
28. What are your New Years Eve plans?
None. I stayed home and wrote some intersting stuff a few chapters for a new book.
29. Will you have someone to kiss at midnight?
I did, but it did happen. Go figure…
30. Wish for 2009?
Good health and good times for all my friends on Open Diary this year!
