Not feeling too well right now…

Woke up this morning at 3am with severe craps and the urge to do expell fluids in the bathroom. Toss in a fever, the shakes and a really bad migraine… I wasn’t feeling too hot this morning. I pretty much was bed ridden for most of the day, until about 4pm when I started to get a little energy back. I’m still a little fatigued and sore but I’m doing a little better. All I’ve had to eat today was dry toast and flat ginger ale, and that’s helped cause I wasn’t able to keep anything else down.

I got a revised script for tomorrow’s reshoot emailed to me. They plan to shoot the scene at 6pm tomorrow and the location is only three blocks from where I live so getting there won’t be a problem. True to his word, the director has written a new scene where my character has a lot of lines, a vast improvement from the last draft. You can tell someone likes your work when he writes your character back in as much as he can. It’s only one scene and if my health keeps improving on track as it is right now, I should be fine. At least now I have something to do when I’m lying in bed. I’ll just pass on watching On Demand episodes of Real Time with Bill Maher for now and memorize my lines.

My novel hit a wall this weekend, but I don’t have the energy to work on it right now. I’ll get back to it on Monday. I’ve been spenidng a lot of my spare time thinking about what direction I want the book to take so I have an idea of direction and plot. Now it’s a matter of transferring it to the word processsor. As you can see on the meter above, I am ahead of schedule… so I can take the hit and get back on track on Monday. Right now I need to go back to bed and just relax.
