Quantum Of Solace…

Someone left a note a while back asking (well demanding) for any kind of information regarding the next James Bond film, and when we can expect it to hit theatres. Well, Brian isn’t going to have to wait that long… for the new film titled Quantum Of Solace is due to release in theatres on November 7th of this year! It started filming five months ago and should have finished a while back if they were on schedule. I was a little iffy about the title, but after a while, it’s starting to grow onto me. What we do know about the movie is that this film picks up at the exact minute where ‘Casino Royale’ left off. We’ve heard that it’s a globe-trotting affair in which Bond tries to track down the boss behind the events of the first film.

So the first time Bond comes face-to-face with that boss, it should be a big deal. It should be as big a moment as they can make it. According to Ain’t It Cool News, it was leaked that Al Pacino flew in to make a breif cameo as the big boss for a very dramatic moment. I like the idea, but the site has been known for their bullshit so take that for what you will. All I know is that if you want a hollywood heavyweight to play the evil mastermind with that cat, Al would be a good pick… he is Tony Montoya after all.

Edit: This rumor turns out to be false. No such scene ever appears in the film…

Getting back to Mr. Bond… I also came across some really good videos on You Tube that provide some good info and teasers of the film, so check it out… they’ll wet the pallet and make you cry for more. There is no official trailer yet, but that should be hitting theatres around July/August. So for now check out these videos and enjoy. They’ll have to do until a trailer comes out and until the movie comes out in November. Take care…
