Weekend Update… and a survey!

The wedding was really nice. They changed it from an outdoor thing to an indoor thing, which made me happy since it was raining on and off all throughout Saturday. The ceremony and the reception was nice, but nothing earth shattering. Leah and I had some time together, cause we had a babysitter for the kids. It was nice nite had by all, and we called it a night a midnight. I wasn’t too druck to update the journal, but too tired and went right to bed.

The next day I attended the first birthday of my little brother’s daughter. My only neice had a fun day as everyone came by to eat BBQ and shower her with gifts, even though we were all told not to. Whatever, a birthday party isn’t the same without gifts. Ethan and Leah stayed behind for various reasons, but I took Jonathan and my older brother Chris to the function, which was nice cause I don’t get to spend my time with my neice and I got the chance to when I was there. I got to meet a lot of my little brother’s in-laws for the first time during this party, and I made sure I was a good boy and made a good first impression. We also showed up early to help set things up, but couldn’t stay for clean up cause we had to get Jonathan home to put to bed. But we both had a lot of fun and in the end that was a good step to mending fences.

It was a good weekend, and I’m glad that everyone had fun. Pictures of both events are incoming, and will be posted Monday or Tuesday. It was a nice weekend, and I hope everyone else had a good one as well. I’ll be back tomorrow, hopefully with pics! Until then, here is a cool survey! Take care and I’ll be around.

Part 1: The Birth of You:

Were you a planned baby?

Well, my parents did want more kids when I showed up… so technically I was planned.

Were you the first?

Nope. I’m a middle child. One was born before me, one after.

Who was present at your birth?

Not sure, but I think just nurses and the doctor. Dad I think had to wait outside…

Were your parents married when you were born?

Yes, for four years when I hatched.

What is your birthdate?

October 28th, 1975.

Part 2: The Family

How would you describe your family?

Passionate, emotional but loving.

Are your parents married?

Yes, they have been for thirty six years.

Siblings or an only child?

Two sibblings, one older… one younger.

If you have siblings are you oldest, middle, or youngest?

I think this is getting too repeditive.

What are your siblings names and ages?

Chris is 34, Matt is 30.

Which parent do you get along with best?

My Dad, but I have good and bad moments with both.

What do you fight about?

Lots of things, it varries.

Do you have step parents?

No.

Part 3: The Friends

Do you have more than one best friend?

I have a few…

Who are your best friends?

Not going to share that here… sorry.

What do you like to do when you are together?

Talk, hang out, play video games, the usual.

Do you share the same interests?

That really doesn’t matter much. It’s cool to talk about things no matter if they’re in common or not…

Which friend can you tell anything to?

I have a few, but lately I haven’t had much access to talk to them so it’s a moot point.

Part 5: Appearance

Are you comfortable with the way you look?

Depends. Sometimes I am, sometimes I’m not.

Do you have any piercings besides your ears?

None at all.

Describe you hair:

Short, brown, wavy.

What make-up do you wear?

None.

How do you dress?

I wear pretty decent stuff. I can be very casual but formal when necessary.

Part 6: The Past

Were you a strange child?

Nope, I was a normal angry kid.

What did you use to love that you no longer do?

Too much to post here…

Do you have the same friends?

I do, but it’s hard to keep in touch with them.

Was there anything in your past that was traumatizing?

Part 7: The Future

What is your ambition?

I’m working on that right now…

Are you scared of growing old?

Not really, it’s going to happen. Just enjoy what you have while you can.

Do you want to get married?

Again? Not sure if this ended if I realy would want to do that again.

Part 8: The Outdoors

Do you prefer indoors or outdoors?

I’m definitely an indoor person. I hate the outdoors.

What is your favorite season:

I love winter, cause all the bugs are dead.

Do you like walking in the rain?

It’s cool, as long as it’s not too cold.

Part 9: Food

Are you a vegetarian?

Nope, I’m a carnavor.

What is your favorite fruit?

Grapes.

What food makes you want to gag?

Peas and pineapple.

What is your favorite dessert?

I’m fond of ice cream…

What is your favorite restaurant?

Depends on where I am… there are too many places to mention.

Are you a fussy eater?

There are some foods I don’t like but not many. I’ll try something new, but once I don’t like something.. no way.

Part 10: Relationships and Love

Are you single or taken?

Very much taken.

If taken who is the lucky guy/girl?:

My wife Leah. Married nine years in two days…

Do you think love is the best feeling in the world?

It’s one of them…

Do you believe in love at first sight?

Nope, lust a first sight is possible, but love takes time to find.

Part 11: Experiences

What was one of your greatest experiences?

Being present for the birth of my kids.

What was one of your worst?

I’d rather not say..

Have you ever done drugs?

Never have, and never will.

Have you ever thought you were going to die?

I’ve never really had that feeling yet, hope I don’t get it for a while.

Have you ever traveled anywhere?

I’ve been to a few places, but hope to do a little more while I have the time left…

What is one experience you want to have?

See my own name in print. (Working on it!)

I read ‘fussy eater’ a little too quick and had a different word there. Which, for some people, may change their original answer 😉

I could eat only pineapple for days.

Glad the birthday party and visit went so well. Cool survey!!!! I love pineapple, lol!!!! :*)) bighugz.

You know, every night lately I’ve been thinking about the inevitability of death? I have no idea why this is on my mind lately.
