Time for a stolen survey!

Got this from one of my favs, so thank you. It has some good questions and seems a little more well written than the others you find on this site. I love a good survey and since I’m not in the mood for a real entry, here goes.

1. Do you save the fortunes you get from fortune cookies?

I try to, but I keep losing them all the time.

2. Out of all of your friends, which one do you think would be the best roommate?

I think a former co-worker named Aaron would have been a cool roomie. But we’re both married so that won’t work…

3. Have you taken any dance classes?

No, but I always wanted to.

4. What do you love/hate the most about reading?

I love getting to the end and finding out everything, but never find the time to get that far.

5. If you were a pyrokinetic, and things would just light on fire whenever you got angry, what’s one thing that would anger you the most and cause the most fires?

Watching the news would be enough for me…

6. Are you good friends with your ex’s, or do you absolutely hate them?

I don’t hate them, but I’m not good friends with them either. If I were to bump into them, I’d be a friend… but nothing more.

7. Do you believe that ladybugs bring good luck?

Not really.

8. What do you think of Christian music?

It’s about as annoying as the book.

9. What’s your favorite candy?

I try to avoid candy. My current vice snack wise is cheese & crackers.

10. Would you ever take back an ex who cheated on you if they kept telling you that they’re sorry and they’ve changed their ways?

I’m working on the answer to that right now. I’ll get back to you…

11. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the highest, how important is music to you?

I’d say around a 7. I love it but wouldn’t die without it.

12. What month were you born in?

October. The 28th of that month to be percise.

13. Has your toast ever gotten stuck in the toaster, and then burnt to a crisp?

No, but I hate it when people change the settings and it burns anyway.

14. Anything upsetting you right now?

A lot of stuff, but I’m working through it.

15. Do you think girls are getting sluttier younger?

I think so, which is why I’m glad I don’t have any daughters.

16. When was the first time you tried any sort of drug?

I have never injested anything without prior approval from a medical professional. I have never done any drugs, never smoked anything in my life. That’s my choice, and I’ll likely stay that way forever.

17. Does it take a lot for you to say “I love you” to a significant other?

No. When I mean it I’m not afraid to say it…

18. What do you think about the whole “playing hard to get” method?

A good way to find out who is sincere and who is just a creep.

19. Do you think that someday scientists will discover a cure for AIDS?

I’m hopefuly medicine will advance and help many people over time. How fast I’m unsure of.

20. Which one’s easier, falling in or out of love?

In is easier by far. Falling out is much, much harder. It’s easy to like someone when you’re trying, but to fall out and walk away is much harder.

21. What’s the weirdest nickname you have?

Jackhammer. Don’t even ask…

22. Ever read The Perks of Being a Wallflower?

Nope and I likely won’t either.

23. Who do you think is the most overrated celebrity today?

Besides all of them?

24. What’s your favorite drinking game?

When I was in University, I had fun doing the Sabrina the Teenage Witch drinking game. You took a glup of beer every time Sabrina used magic and a shot of hard liqour whenever the cat talked. Easy way to get wasted… and Melissa Joan Hart isn’t hard on the eyes either!

25. Do you believe that life is too short?

No, I believe people don’t appreciate how long 60-100 years can really be when you’re not rushing too much.

26. Do you like candles?

Sometimes.

27. When did you last cry?

A few months ago, but over something very stupid.

28. Do you like your handwriting?

It’s not bad. I got a good autograph ready to go though for all those book signings.

29. What color shirt are wearing?

Black.

30. Do you have any pets?

Two now. A cat named Lizzy and now a small beagle mix called Bambi.

31. What were you doing at 9 last night?

Watching a new episode of Jericho I taped on my DVR last week.

No, not really.

36. Ever cried on your friend’s shoulder?

No. Crying is something I do very privately.

37. Song that makes you cry?

‘The Last Song’ by Elton John brings a tear to my eye cause it reminds me of a friend who is no longer with us.

38. Are you normally a happy person?

At the moment, I’m doing okay but can be doing a lot better.

39. Has anyone ever said ‘I love you’ to you?

Yeah, a few.

40. Is your self-esteem extremely low?

At the moment, it’s better than it would have been if I was still on the island working at the crappy center. The move made a bit of a difference…

41. If you could be on a tv show what would it be?

Survivor. I would be as hated as Richard Hatch, but I’d still win.
