More calls… and more interviews
Today is the first of three interviews that I have booked so far. I had a third company call in yesterday and ask to meet with me on Friday. That makes one interview today with an IT company, another tomorrow with this company in Toronto and another on Monday at a meat plant. So I have three chances to land a decent job. Odds are I am going to take the best offer I get and likely will be working by next week at the earliest. This is good because we need the income since Leah’s daycare job hasn’t kicked in as quickly as we hoped it would. The interview I’m going to today seems to be the best option as it requires the least and cheapest amount to travel, and they lady that called up was really nice on the phone and gave me the impression that people are treated nicely over there. It was a good first impression, so basically if the second interview is as good as the first, I might brush off the other two interviews and take the first one right off the bat.
While the job in Toronto is likely to offer more money… it won’t be worth taking. It’s very expensive to commute to Toronto and that would suck out about 30% of my wages, making it not worth looking into. The third interivew is a last resort and will take that one only if I absolutely have to. I’ve still got a really good feeling about the today’s interview so cross your fingers for me and hopefully this will work out!
Also, today the furniture is supposed to arrive in the early this afternoon. It will be nice to sleep in my own bed, Jonathan will have his crib back and Ethan will have all his toys back. He’s been a royal pain only because he’s been bored without his toys and the TV can only do so much. The arrival of our stuff will make everything a little easier to handle and hopefully will make things a little less stressful for everyone around here. The move has been hard on everyone, myself included. But things are getting a little easier.
Hope everyone else is doing all right and I’ll post an update when I get back from the interview. Until then, take care… and keep those fingers crossed!

Congratulations on being so indemand 🙂 I hope your interview goes well and your furniture arrives on time. There’s almost nothing worse than living somewhere with none of your things to make it livable. Again good luck!!
