Almost there…

Peter here, writing a quick entry from the Super 8 hotel that we are staying in before out departing flight. The trucks arrived last night and cleared out the appartment and our stuff is on it’s way to Ontario as we speak. Should be there in about a year or two. We were not charged much at all for the weight, which was a relief since we had over 25 boxes to go with the best, dressers and other stuff. So that stuff is taken care of and since we had no furnature to sleep on, that’s the reason for our stay at this sweet Super 8. Had a huge TV for the kids to watch their shows on, and Leah and I hit the sack the minute the kids snoozed off. We managed to get a bit of sleep, but am dying for a little relief later on tonight.

So that’s the update from here. This is my last day on the island, at least for the next while. I’m hoping to one day return, but until then Leah and I have to go where the money and opportunity are, and it just wasn’t here for now. Our flight leaves in a little over three hours and we’ll be Toronto bound. Grandma and Grandpa are going to be there waiting for Ethan and Jonathan and they are dying to see the little ones. It’s going to be a fun week, and then I’ll start the persuit for new work in a new city. Shouldn’t be too hard given my education and background work.

So that’s it for now. I’ll be back online with the next day or two. The internet will be hooked up at the next place tomorrow. Until then, everyone take care and have a sweet Wednesday.
