Blogathon # 24: The peace didn’t last too long…
Time: 10:05pm Island Time (8:35pm EST)
So much for writing some half decent friggin’ entries…
Less than ten minutes after posted the last pic filler entry, Jonathan wakes up and starts screaming as if someone shot him in the leg. Since Leah isn’t here to help out has pretty much deserted me for half the fucking night, here I am to cradle the kid and take care of him instead of doing my blog thing for charity. I didn’t ask for very much from her, take care of the kids while I do my charity thing. Seems that apparently was too much to ask of her. I’ll be sure not to make that mistake again.
I love my wife very much, but it’s times like this when I don’t like her very much. I’ve been planning this event since March, and here I am scrambling to get things done while she goes out and drinks and parties with her friends. Thanks for the support hun, I’ll be sure to remember it the next time you really, really need me to be there for ya. I realize that times like this is when I’m gonna have to suck it up, and just move on… but I really wish I didn’t have to. Jonathan may be awake, but I’ll have to do something to get through it. This is really taking a strain on me right now and I really don’t appreaciate being left behind like this, and that might be a recurring theme until she gets home.
This is all you’re going to get for now, see everyone in 30.

Kida sad that she couldn’t put off ONE evening of drinking and partying so that you could do something great for a fabulous cause. So far you’ve been lucky that your children haven’t needed a place like Sick Kids and you’d think any mother would appreciate what you’re doing and why you’re doing it.Still… CONGRATS on passing the half-way point!!!
