Blogathon # 22: Bedtime for my boys…

Time: 9:03pm Island Time (7:33pm EST)

Jonathan went to bed right after his bottle and has been out ever since. Ethan took a little more bribery to get to bed (sippy cup of juice) but he’s in bed and rather quiet so that’s looking good as well. Leah has taken a shower and is getting ready to leave. I have ‘Charlie & The Chocolate Factory’ on the TV and am trying to do my best to get back on track here. I liked this version a lot better than the one from the seventies cause it was more loyal to the literature, but that’s just me.

It’s almost 9pm and that would mean we’ve been working on this for over ten hours. Time is flying right now, but my fellow bloggers, this is the easy part. When we go deep into the night… that is when time will slow to a crawl. I’m eager to get things back on track. I’ve got some interesting questions to answer and at least that will keep me busy for a while. Leah is about to take off soon and the Blue Jays lost to Oakland again. Hasn’t been a perfect day, but at least I’m still on track and ready to keep writing. Hopefully everyone else is doing all right and ready to write into the night.

I’ll be around, and I’ll be back to post another entry in 30 minutes!

Dodgers have won two in a row, so I’m happy. 🙂

I’m at the point where when I lie down in my normal spot in front of the tv to watch the game, I get tired, when I pop up to sit my rear at the computer to write, I wake up. I might make this thing afterall.

I haven’t seen the new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory yet. It’s on my Netflix list though, I’ve heard good things about it.

it’s those late night moments that worry since I have allowed the two people closest to me to have access. I’m sure I’ll hit that dark place that will frighten them a bit. 🙂 But, hey, they know I’m a little bit crazy. Good luck with this. I will come back to read more if I find I give myself an extra 10 minutes or so.

feel free to come join the irc chatroom if you need to stay awake. chat does help during those crazy hours where you’re about to faceplant on the keyboard. 🙂 –your monitor/cheerleader/khouria
