Melissa reading her birthday card.  Brian thinks he’s so funny.  He bought her a singing card that sings YMCA.  So we had these 2 free passes for people from our Y membership?  He put them inside the card.  She laughed.  We gave her a handmade gift certificate for one text book when she starts nursing school.  I know textbooks are uber expensive.  (Look at her, she’s so damned gorgeous!  That’s my daughter!)

The gorgeous bouquet Mel and Bill brought.  I only took pictures because the roses opened so beautifully and rarely, rarely do I get roses given to me that open like this.  They’re still full and gorgeous today!

Finally, this is for our very own OD Brian.  He asked me to take a picture of myself in heels.  This isn’t what I had planned but I did see this when uploading pictures for Thanksgiving.  So here you go Brian, this is a self-portrait I took some time ago (I’ve lost more weight since) of me in a dress and one of my favorite pairs of heels.  Kinda blurry, but me.
