grumpy demanding bi***

i think this has been me. i don’t want to admit it or at least i want to offer an excuse, but um, yeah.

i have had this bunion on my right foot since jr high and have always bought shoes around it, but since november it grew a friend: a ganglion cyst. Don’t ask me to explain or even spell it correctly… you can look it up.

The surgery is routine outpatient, the recovery involves staying off of the foot for 3 days then mostly off the foot while in a “boot” for six weeks after surgery. But that is so much harder than it sounds.

2.5 weeks into this has proved to be a serious test on our relationship. btw, this particular surgery and any foot surgery apparently is more painful than anyone would expect. (especially more than my Hubby has yet to acknowledge or in reality be aware of)

So this evening I initiated a talk. Turns out some of the frustration I was feeling was from Hubby’s work and not from me as I perceived it after all. OH!!! The world does not actually revolve around me! Wow!
