Glenn Beck started my day with an hilarious riff on the Secretary of Transportation Chief, Central Illinois’s very own Ray LaHood. A TV "news" reporter lobbed him softball questions so he could go on and on about the mortal hazards of even thinking about telephones while near a car. "WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIIIEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Is that all the big government ninnies/nannies can think about?
I need to read more science. I always loved science when I was in school and now I can read all I want. I really need to read more science. This universe is the most amazing place ever. I delivered Edmund’s Scientifics catalogs today and they had the coolest stuff on the cover.
I saw an Eggcamper on the cover of a camping magazine somewhere too so I looked them up. I have not seen a camper built of two pieces of fiberglass like this in years that had the seam running from the top to the bottom all the way from the front to the back. Most of these fiberglass campers have a seam running along the side from front to back. That is, most of these campers are like a hamburger bun, with a top and bottom, but the EggCamper is like a hot dog bun with a left and right half. I think the old Bolero campers (they went out of business years ago) was like this new one. It looks very nice.
I’m not buying any camper.
I see Google Docs is going to be available on the iPod touch. This will be very helpful. I will be able to be all in the cloud. No more wondering or worrying about my laptop crashing or backing up files. It will all be out there on Google’s secure and redundant servers. I haven’t yet figured out quite how it works though.
Oh, Rich came today and our doors are all in and we feel so secure. Of course, if someone really wants to break into a house he can, but our doors won’t be the easy way in that’s for sure.
I have to get back to the internet to research an older friends claim that a drill out west was down to 4300 feet when it found a human baby tooth. Ah life.
I deliver mail to a very nice home in Decatur owned by a man so rich he has a groundskeeper who works an average of 20 hours a week just on this one lawn. Here are the first half of the leaves bagged up for the fall, just half of them.
I guess the second picture is the other half? You bag your leaves in paper bags? How interesting! And environmentally friendly!
