Okay, a few things real quickly.

Moonrise Kingdom is a very good movie. Some people say “oh, it’s just more Wes Anderson quirkiness, i’m tired of that by now,” but i’ve never seen many of his movies so it feels like news to me.

I’m about to vanish from the internet until we’re moved in and settled at the new place. I haven’t even gotten the new modem yet. I can already see it — there will be some random fuckup trying to set up our wireless router, and my brother will say “raaaargh i want to play Call of Duty tonight” and i’ll have to say, “chill, Mongo, it’s not ready yet. Watch a fucking movie. Go to sleep!”

Urrrrrgh here we go.

Back eventually. Fight the powers that be like a rebel without a cause for alarm.

I don’t know that I’ve seen a lot of his movies either. I saw the Royal Tennenbaums a few times just because I SOOOOOOOOO didn’t get it and desperately wanted to understand. Lol. I gave up. Fantastic Mr. Fox I really really like. Moonrise Kingdom, I’m almost embarrassed to say I LOVED because everyone I know and their mama just hated it. Or didn’t get it. It was strange no doubt. loved the way he wanted to take care of her and how she was willing. You know? It was sweet. I think ppl missed the “sweet” cause it’s a little strange. Anyway. Yes. lol. Hope your move went well.

Moonrise Kingdom is my favorite Wes Anderson film. Hands down. I even bought the soundtrack and I have never ever bought a full soundtrack from iTunes before! Good luck with the move. Not having Internet sucks. I’m going through major withdrawal myself and yet I obviously am still able to log in from my phone at the hotel! And man, why are so many dudes into call of duty?
