10 favourite stores to shop at:
– J & H Tackle in Oakdale NY: honestly this place has just about anything and everything that a saltwater angler could desire.
– Nordstrom’s: They carry this clothing line called Facconable and their button downs are just perfect for me style wise, granted the $100 per shirt part doesn’t suit my budget right now. But when the time arrives that I get to my goal weight I am dropping some loot there.
–  Wild by Nature: it’s a natural foods store chain that is here on the island. They have some downright good food there, again for my budget not a monthly trip, but now and again I stop at the one nearby work and grab lunch.
– Bellport Beer & Soda – In town and they carry some fine potables. Yum.
– Costco: Sometimes you really need 5 lbs of strawberries.
– Petco: My cats love me for it.

9 things you do when going on an outing, including favourite outing spots:
– Observe possible exits just in case
– Case the locale for shady characters
– Find the nearest place to have lunch/dinner/etc
– Find a comfortable spot to kick back and enjoy
– People watch

– Try to forget about the bad parts of my day and focus on the good

7 most significant days in your life:
1.  When my mother miscarried when I was 8 years old, it was the first time and my realization that despite my mother’s strength, she wasn’t invincible and this scared me.
2.  The day I lost my virginity, I was fifteen and she was a neighborhood girl’s cousin. She was very generous and aimed to please, I was awkward.
3.  The day I received my acceptance letter to Endicott College. Excitement.
4.  The day my parents drove up with me to college for the first time, my mother and I quarrelled from the point we pulled out of the driveway to the point they pulled out of the parking lot.
5.  Graduation Day. Beneath a large tent amidst a crowd of 1,000 graduates I lit up a Montecristo #2 and a plume of smoke rose.
6.  Being terminated from my hospital job, it was a change of direction and it grounded me mentally for what I needed to do.
7.  The day my son was born. He’s had me smiling ever since.

1 momento you’ve kept the longest and what it means to you:
In my bedroom drawer I have an old bottle of Pino Silvestre cologne, it’s shaped like a pine cone. It was my grandpa’s and when he passed away I took it from his bedroom in Italy.

Every now and again I smell it in the air and I just smile.
