Father’s Day

Today this day starts with me knocking at my son’s door at 8:15am, his voice is upbeat and mischievous. I draw it ajar and there he is peering out at me through the crib spindles and he giggles only to flop over into the comfort of his blanket.

This is the best way to start anyday let alone father’s day.

Joe’s been sleeping through the night on the regular so sleep is great.

Today I have a short list to of things to do, nothing strenous in the least but I do need to get them out of the way.

Later on today we have a barbeque over at my in-laws, hopefully my brother in law won’t be such a putz and I’ll be able to enjoy without the insane banter of firematic discussions ruling the table.
