Busy evening….

A.C. is a boon in this weather.

Tonight has been busy.

Picked up Joe at my in-laws they had eaten a bit earlier so I just hung there for twenty minutes and then Joe and I were off, got home and we turned on the a.c. units up and downstairs so we could be comfortable. If I didn’t Joe’s room would be like 80 degrees and stuffy – not a baby sleeping making environment that is for sure.

Then we hung out downstairs together and we played with blocks. My brother in law and his wife got Joe these huge wood blocks, they’re like 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" in size. Huge. I was kind of envious because back in my day we had the standard 1" size set and well these are just too much fun. I watched him as he stacked the blocks all by himself, the first time I saw him do this so well and on top of this he was straightening the oddly placed blocks too. At one point I just picked them up and handed them to him and he was setting away. At a certain point he would stop and swat them down so he could start again.

He said the word "light" 10 times tonight and pointed each time at the light in the kitchen while I fed him.

Kick ass.

Putting him down was cake. He took 8 ounces of bottle which is now 50/50 formular & organic whole milk.

 Chores:
-changed cat litter
-ran a small load of whites in dryer
-laundry sweep of entire house
-put out the trash
-brought the 3 bags of potting soil & the bottle of round up into the backyard
-made bottles
-ran small load in dishwasher
-unloaded dishwasher
-cleaned up Joe’s toys downstairs
-brought the recycling lids Nina spray painted in from the backyard and onto the deck

Now I sit back and think if I missed anything.

Also today I got a rate quote from Geico insurance that is almost half of what I am paying now a month. I may switch up soonly.

Ok. That’s all for now.

Be well.

Hey, thanks for your note. Frenzying, I have never heard that as a verb, but it about describes it perfectly. Working on slowing it down in my mind, and having faith and just one foot in front of the other, do the next right thing. I love the note above. Made me laugh! Hope all is well with you and yours, Him…
