Holiday weekend starts

Last night we had our couples therapy session and for whatever reason I was abnormally relaxed, like as if I had been sitting in a bathtub of stress and someone pulled the plug and it all washed out. I mean subdued was more my appearance, bordering on the look Mike Tyson had on during the interview with his ex wife when he was medicated. It was a good session with more positives being reached.

We are learning more about one another’s behavior’s and how to really speak to one another, expressing how we feel rather than stab out with words and frustrations.

It really was a positive session which made me happy.

Last night we were very low key at home, t.v. for her and trolling the net for me along with some Diablo 2 for fun. until D3 comes out I’ll enjoy this.

Little Joe slept all night last night and without any super soiled diapers like the last three nights. Nina was expecting him to do a repeat but luckily he didn’t. Sometimes she gets this wacky notion that he only does it when she’s on duty and well that’s absurd.

But, it would be funny if it’s true.

So this morning I woke alive and alert at 6:00am and feeling hungry. Nina was deep in sleep so I tried not to bother her despite the acreage of morning wood in my drawers as I rolled over and goosed harpooned her almost.

I can’t help myself, I’m a virile sicilian man.

Anyhow my son woke at about 7:30 and we went downstairs hung around, played with his blocks and watched the re-airing of 2008 puppy olympics on the animal planet. Then I fed him and up to his bedroom where I got him ready for our busy morning.

Just being Mr Funny Face

In this photo my son reminds me of those creatures on Tattoine in Starwars.

He loves Chobani.

Nina woke shortly after and before long we were out the door
– gym: cardio & abdominal work for me, playtime with mrs. julie in the day care where my son encountered and flirted quite soundly with a little blonde girl easily a year older than him. I peaked in time to time and watch him handing her toys. It was cute.
– bank for deposits
– petco for new petfood, back to IAMS, that Nutro crap is a loser, made them have diarhea and vomit. bleche.
– diary barn for eggs & butter.

Joe’s in bed now taking a nap as he tried to doze off in the car but I wanted him to stay awake as long as possible since a good cap nap in the car would kill any chance of him sleeping at home.

In the afternoon we have a BBQ to go to in Lindenhurst with Nina’s family. It should be interesting.

Otherwise the sun is out and there is a nice calm breeze.

Enjoy the weekend folks.
