Get your armor…..
My morning went well, little Joe slept with only 1 wake up at 1:30am which was amazing since he only began to stir at 6:50am, I got him and we were downstairs. He went about his normal routine with his little ride on Pooh train while I prepped his high chair and collected his meal for the morning. My late nights with him are easy now, I’m on auto pilot in a sense. I mean as long as I get to use the bathroom real quick before I step in there it’s all good.
No one likes doing the pee-pee dance while they’re changing their 11 month old in the dark at 3am, really.
Bottles are safe in the portable cold pack which lasts well into the morning if I choose to but I don’t.
Joe took 8 oz of milk between his 8pm feeding & the 1:30am wake up. He is such a night feeder it’s ridiculous. He eats well in the evenings, especially with my mom.
The gym today was beautiful. I did chest & back, my bench press is back up to 225 lbs which is nice. I am doing half sets of 5 reps for strength more than anything. I really want to ramp up my heart rate with heavier poundage and at the fast pace of increase I think it’s working, I tend to be more sweaty and can feel my heart pounding away.
My overhead dumbell raises on the flat bench were sweet, slow reps and I think my technique is improving, pushing from my fingertips really harnesses my upper pectorals especially if I hesitate a moment. I’m up to 80 lbs which is nice. I don’t need to go heavier than this really, It isn’t an exhausting move, more a recruiting effort than anything.
I ended up doing volume training on my incline dumbell presses though, halting my climb at 70 lbs in each hand. It was nice to just feel everything get so pumped with blood. I could see the reflection of my back in the mirror and I looked rather hulkish. I just kept repeating Dr Banner’s words from the series "Mr. McGee, don’t make me angry. You wouldn’t like me when I’m angry."
No. You wouldn’t.
Nina is upstairs readying for work. Little Joe is asleep after a good day at daycare in the gym with the other kids.
Oh by the way the police position in NYC? It was just a standard armed carrying position, nothing of high importance. I did have down that i spoke french, which I did in high school and listed it as such but because of the haitian population I might get some special consideration but I could’ve sworn they have their own dialect (?).
Anyhow. Things right now are quiet, marketing with Joe in the afternoon.
I need to shower to rid myself of my grime.
Be well.
I spoke French fairly decent in high school and college…now I’m so rusty, lol.

Ha, I know just what you’re talking about when it comes to the pee-pee dance while changing a diaper! It’s like, I just woke up and I need to go, but I don’t want to leave my kid crying in the crib … what to do, what to do?! ^_^ RYN: I was joking that I won’t be able to tell when Xander’s actually saying “Da-da” to my husband because right now, EVERYTHING is “da-da”. He says it to the cat, the ceiling, his dinner, etc. And marrying my DM was the best thing I’ve ever done. The game never ends! ::laughs::
