O+
So this evening I let the clinicians tap into my veins so they could siphon out my blood, I just give the standard type, no platelets, it takes longer than I’d like and being I’m so consistent with donating I don’t want to do it once for them to keep harassing me for platelets everytime.
I don’t know about anywhere else but the blood drive here on Long Island is pretty fierce. They had 6 stations not including the platelets stations (2) and were churning folks out with a fury.
I came home and Nina had meatballs ready for me, she was going to have a girl’s night out then found voicemail about her friend’s car being in the shop. She is down about it and rightfully so. I was planning on a quiet evening to just contemplate things but with little Joe going to bed now there will be interaction with her, unsure what is to come of it.
Tomorrow is the gym, arms & treadmill I’m thinking.
Then splitting some wood outside. I know, lots of fun.
Ok, other than this I have no interesting news or thoughts.
Yeah, Red Cross sure does a good job of gently calling again and again, “reminding” you it is time again to come in and give. It feels like I am helping in some way, though, especially now when finances are tight. Hope your evening was good.
