Evening before….

Nina’s meds were changed today, different antibiotic and she seems to be feeling better.

Nina & little Joe leave for upstate.

I’m trying to get in as many extra hugs and coax as many laughs and monster smiles as possible.

Nina ran out to CVS and we played airplane with my son balanced on my head and me clutching his waist as we ran through the house making airplane sounds as I swooped and dove and then I pulled him right side up and his face was plastered with this deep satisfied smile.

At dinner I watched from across the table as Nina fed little Joe, he in turn watched me between spoonfuls of cereal & pureed veggies and soy yogurt as I took bites out of my roast beef, buffalo chicken breast & american cheese sandwich. I’m not sure whether he was keyed on me or the sandwich and how I was making it dissapear .

Now he’s asleep, I topped him off with a little formula and he drifted to sleep, little hands drawing his blanket over his shoulder.

Tomorrow we leave at 8am for JFK their flight is at 12:00pm, then I have to get my car inspected.

Friday is work and then off to the library to print out some maps I need for the weekend.

Saturday – Federal Parks Police test in NJ, travel down to DC area and bunk down for the evening.

Sunday – Go into DC bright and early and see the Smithsonian & the Holocaust Museum. Get back into NY on time and be ready to pick Nina and H2 at JFK in the afternoon.
