where am I?!
I’m so behind on reading I want to CRY. I’ve been really sick and ugh all week and it just SUCKS because I can’t really read well on my dumb phone and I just want to find my laptop crap so I can just log in from the couch and stay connected.
I was in the hopsital yesterday because I had been cramping for two days with a back ache and head ache, but nothing was wrong. Cervix is perfect and blah blah blah.
Whatever.
I was waiting for my discharge when they left my door open and I could hear another woman in labor. It was really sad. She was screaming things like ‘WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO ME! HELP ME!!!"
I wanted to run away. lol.
Honestly, it was terrifying.
I was never like that in labor and maybe it’s because I got an epidural both times. But even without it, I don’t think I’d scream like that.
Anyway, I think she was on her way to pushing the baby out when I ran out of there. lol.
I hope to find my stuff and I"ll read til I can’t read no more!
I was feeling really good this morning, but sitting at this computer desk makes my back hurt. ugh.
I have SO MUCH I NEED TO DO that I have not done.
ugh.
I love you people! *muah*
Have a great weekend (and holiday if you’re in the states!)
Oh! and a ticker: The doctor says good posture will help Mommy’s back pain. She says that’s a load of crap. Having a baby is the only cure! I’m 29 weeks and 3 days old, only 74 days to go!
Oh yeah, I have a ticker. Look at that!

I’m behind too. I’m glad that there is nothing wrong. I would have chuckled at the woman saying that. I mean we all know why that was happening to her. lol Hope you feel better. ♥

Aye, the sooner it’s out, the happier you’ll be

Ha I wasn’t allowed to have an epidural until I was something like 5 or 6 cm, I didn’t get that far for hours! I was having contractions every 30 seconds, so pretty much contractions on top of contractions and they were the most pain I’ve ever been in in my whole life and I never screamed like that, just moaned in pain for the most part. Glad you are ok, thank goodness. Pregnancy is hardwork!

There were screamers down the hall when I gave birth. The nurses chalked it up to tiny teen moms in labor for the first time. You’re a veteran – it’s your third. No way you’ll be in that kind of mode – with or without the epidural. He’ll probably slide right out…hopefully not enroute to the hospital :O

I’m glad everything is ok! Hope you find your laptop stuff soon. ((hugs))

I never had an epidural…just went natural… they gave me demerol (back in the 80’s) after the head had crowned (which was dumb if you ask me) and I never screamed like that woman you described…I did say “oh sh*t” in the delivery room and then apologized, which made the doctor laugh. She said she’d heard a lot worse than that and the apology was what made her laugh. After my last son was born I heard a girl in labor screaming “I’m not doing this!!!” She went on for a long time saying things like that and it wasn’t until the next day that I learned it was someone I knew who was having twins. The first one was born naturally, the second one had turned sideways and she ended up having a C-section. Poor girl. You’ll be fine when the time comes!!!

Yeah those back aches and cramps can be there and it’s annoying. I guess can just be typical in some cases. Yeah some people can scream out like that when they’re in a lot of pain and exaggerated. Some people are different and have different reactions.

I remember women screaming like that when I was in the hospital with my first. I always thought, 1st of all, isn’t that a little extreme to be SCREAMING? and 2nd, shouldn’t they keep the doors closed and have sound proof walls so other women don’t get petrified? 😛

That hospital situation sounded…not good. But the way you wrote it made me laugh.

She was in transitional labor. I did cry and whine some, but only shouted and demanded drugs with Chance, who waas my smallest baby. Are you going to try natural? I have a few hints and tips, though I am sure you’ve had your fill. Good to see you around.

How can you be having a baby and NOT know why that is happening to you?
