I’m trying with all my might to print out a simple letter.

and it won’t print.

Our network is farting and gasping and choking and dying.

Seriously. Our email and most of the internet went down for about an hour.

I say "most" of the internet because I was still able to get to the proxy server that I access OD through (until I closed my window, oops!). Also our city intranet was working.

but now I can’t print.

All I want to do is print.

It’s a stupid network color printer. This letter has a STUPID color city seal on the top.

and if it’s not in color, it’s "frowned upon"… OH WHAT THE HELL EVER.

I could print all day with the black and white printer next to my desk, but noooo, i need color.

damn you color!!!!

So now, I’m just sorta waiting around for god knows what.

Is it Wednesday yet?

it’s not Wednesday yet.

I forgot to ask my boss about my schedule. but I don’t want to go into her office without this damn letter.

WHY WON’T IT PRINT.

I’ve tried printing from two seperate printers.

the status on the printer que says "printing"… but it’s just a liar.

stupid lying technology.

I’m all pissy now.

if it’s not in color, it’s frowned upon…. lol. nitpicky! but i can sympathize: i used to have to experiment endlessly with the shading on the xerox copier at work because the boss said “if the paper is too white it hurts my eyes.” you can’t make this stuff up.

This reminds me of a video I saw, it was non-fiction, there was a camera set up in this office, perhaps they are worried about people not working or stealing crap. Anyway, this guy tried printing and it wasn’t printing properly, and he eventually freaks out. I’d thought all day that it was Monday. Turns out it’s Tuesday and will be for hours, yet. Oh well.

RYN: I too lose terribly and cry! Technology is dumb, you could contact an IT professional and tell them to fix that shizz!

When our internet or network goes down, it’s pande-f*cking-monium. Really makes you realize how dependent we are on computers these days.

My biggest pet peeve with technology is how slow it seems to be. My reflexes and thinking are too quick haha
