this week is a butt

Is today going to get better?

probably not.

I have about 10 bucks in random dollar bills (I’ve hidden 7 dollars from myself in my desk at work, which I found when I moved my cubicle)…

and I’m in such a pissy fucked mood, I think I’m gonna have a spicy chicken bowl.

I was gonna have a cup of noodles. Which is probably better because my throat is suddenly shot to hell (coughed up a bit of blood right now, whee!)…

but who cares.

I’m gonna take my stripper money and get what I want.

cuz i’m pissy and angry and I hate everything! RAWR!!!

Guess what else!

I was about 15 minutes late to work this morning and I’M NOT MAKING IT UP.

I usually take the time out of lunch or whatever, but since work can suck it, then it can suck it for an extra 15 minutes.

I have started looking at rental home prices in Texas (Baboo is looking at Houston, so that’s where I searched) and I’m pleasantly surprised. I’m not sure how it translates into how much money we’d make there, but if I made the same salary or even a bit less, we’d be sitting pretty in a bigger house for less money. It’s very very tempting.

If the lay off mill keeps churning, I’m gonna start looking at jobs down there. I have no idea where to start, but at least if I’m looking I’ll have a head start on whatever might happen when I get dumped out of here lik the rubbish they think I am.

Honestly? I’m scared to move. I’m scared of Texas. I’m scared of the "south" and I’m scared of being anywhere but California (yes, I was born and raised here)… but maybe my life needs a big change.

I just feel like I would be totally out of control and I’m not sure how to handle that.

I just took some more cold meds too soon and I’m drinking tea.

I should be one of two things in about 2 hours:

1. Fighting sleep, being cranky and hating everything still

or

2. Loopy, hopped up on caffeine and stimulants, and feeling like a lunatic.

I’m hoping for 2, but my luck is to get 1.

I started writing my zombie story.

And like most things, I got all the good nibblets out of my head and I’m not sure where to go with it.

I was gonna create a diary just for my writing, but nobody would read it and I’d be sad and then I’d probably stop writing altogether.

So nevermind on that.

I’m depressing.

Lets talk about 10 things I’d do with my tax return if I didn’t have to spend it on a lawyer!

1. I’d buy myself a new computer, and get one for my brother (the one he is using is about 3 years old and it sounds like a jet engine when it’s running. It’s terrible and it might blow up one day lol).

2. I’d get my children a summer wardrobe

3. I’d buy window treatments for my kitchen and area rugs for my bedroom and living room

4. I’d buy a new tv for my livingroom (it’s broken)

5. I’d buy a butt ton of video games, especially the new RPG’s coming out this year!

6. I’d get myself some jeans that fit as well as invest in some more tools to lose weight

7. I’d get Baboo the hard drive he wants to expand his DVR memory.

8. I’d book a Vegas weekend for me and Baboo for later this year

9. I’d get my car detailed and have the scratches fixed.

10. I’d put away a chunk to save for either the wedding or the baby… or a rainy day (this may still happen regardless).

Yep, that’s what I’d do.

but no. I’m hoping to only have to use half of it on the lawyer, but who the fuck knows. I’ll use ALL OF IT just to get this finished.

Hell, I might have to pay another lawyer to file my damn bankruptcy, and that’ll be that.

but it will tie up with a neat little bow most of my legal issues.

I’d like to be done with them.

onoes, i’m getting depressing again.

ummmm…

errrr…

hmmmm.

oh whatever.

I’m gonna go goof off somewhere else.

Yeah, but in Texas your commute probably wouldn’t be as crazy with the train and all. You would have more time at home with your family – which could mean more calm instead of crazy. Check out the Texas Workforce Commission for jobs. Or for a government job usajobs.gov (I think that’s it). Look for suburbs of Houston, Austin, Dallas. You’ll find cheaper rates farther out from the cities.

i love when i hid money from myself and then find it a while later… its like a gift to myself! you should get the chicken bowl… you deserve it! 🙂

i wish i had more fun things to do with my tax return instead of important things too. booooo.

Trust me, Houston is nothing to be scared of. I moved here from a little bitty Louisiana town and talk about change…wow!! You will get swept right up in all the craziness and feel right at home. One little bit of advice is finish up the legal stuff there before you move. If you wait to do it here, it will be put off for about another year or so.

Wow…so your throat basically feels like crap, and you coughed up a bit of blood?! (Aren’t you the least bit concerned about the cold or whatever it is you seem to have, being a bit worse due to that, or, is it something that doesn’t alarm you, and you’re used to dealing with it or something? Yeah…it’d be rather scary, to move from the place you’d been born and raised and grew up in! That’d

*is from the South* Nothing to be scared of. Ok, there are some things to be scared of, but honestly, you’ll be fine if it comes to that. *massive hugs* I really hope it doesn’t come to that!

be a big move and step for sure indeed hun! Anyway…I know it’s easier said then done, but just try not too worry about it too much until something more said, solidified happens!

lol. “stripper money” HA! i think the strippers up here get more money, we don’t have $1 or $2 bills.

Oh…and I’d sorta intended…and forgotten to mention that, I also get weird feelings like that as well, when it comes to thinking about writing something, but probably and likely not having a bunch of people, if at all, read it! That’s one of the things, that can discourage you half the time!

Why Texas? I must’ve missed something.

My evil ex-sister in law lives in Houston (one reason I hate TX)… but yeah… cheap housing… Write your zombie story!!! I want to reeeeaaaddddd IT!!!

We are friendly down here in the South. Most of us anyway. Don’t be afraid. Personally.. I like Houston better than Dallas. But I like Austin better than Houston. Austin is smaller though. Definitely look in the suburbs. You can get a good sized house for pretty cheap.

I’m moving to a suburb of Houston here in 6 or so months. If you were to move to Houston, I would kidnap your ass so often! You have no idea…lol. I ADORE Houston, and I hate big cities, so yeah 🙂

February 2, 2010

I really like Houston. My best friend lived there for 3 years and I made several trips there. It’s spread out, particularly the suburbs, but living in LA, it’ll probably seem small to you 🙂

this week is a big HAIRY butt! I hope you got the caffeine high 🙂 xx

🙂

I was going to lecture you about staying positive, but I just think you’d LOVE Austin. In the words of my cousin, “Texas is teh Kick-@$$!” Cost of living is cheaper down here, and Sarah’s right, your commute would more likely be you in a car pool rather than the train and much calmer. And it’s FUN! We party for just about anything. 🙂

You have nothing to be afraid of in Houston, because it’s like a little LA, without the celebrities and…californinsanity. I think y’all would fit in pretty well here. But, I do have one thing to say that will break your pretty little heart: no spicy chicken bowls down here. (please come!)
