Doing Laundry in the Rain

Yep, that’s what I’m doing.

I knew it was going to rain, but my brain couldn’t possibly have put together a plan to do laundry on the days of the weekend that it WASN’T raining.

duh dummy!

So here I am, doing laundry in the rain. I really have no choice. If I don’t do the laundry, people will have to go around naked and that won’t be good. (Why do I have to do laundry outside? Well the washer and dryer are out in a little shed that is not connected to the house. It sucks)

Oh the trials of being the matriarch of the household.

So along with the laundry I’m gonna attempt to clean my kitchen really nicely. I’m gonna try to fix the "junk table"… which is actually my dining room table but we never eat at it (cuz we suck) and it has become a catch all for everything. I will clean above it and under it. I need to fix my puppies little area. He’s a little butt and has taken to whining and howling when we bring him inside. It’s annoying and troublesome. I don’t want him to be an outside dog, but it seems to be what HE wants.

dumb dog is out in the rain right now. I didn’t even put on his raincoat (we finally found him one) because he was howling so early in the morning I just wanted to shove him out the damn door. So at least he has a little house out there now, but GAWD!

I also hope to get a good 4 or 5 hours of video gaming in.

I haven’t played a SINGLE VIDEO GAME since last weekend. Baboo has been playing his, however. Lots of Call of Duty and yesterday he played a good 4 plus hours of Resistance: Fall of Man. We got the first one yesterday, after a trade in of a lame game called MIrrors Edge (NEVER PLAY THIS, IT’S DUMB!!!). I was quite impressed with the artificial intelligence in Resistance. They totally flanked and surrounded Baboo at this one point. I was like WOW! And they totally hide and wait for your ass.

I would die instantly, but Baboo seems to have a good grasp of it.

We might get Army of Two soon so I can play with him and shiz.

Blah.

Anyway, I need to go check if my water is bowling. I’m making Cream of Wheat.

MMMM….

(Cream of Wheat made and is being devoured. It reminds me of being a child and it’s warm and delicious. My brief little break of the morning, then into the trenches with me. I’m gonna be productive on my holiday off (boo!)… but then I’ll be lazy by lunchtime. No worries)

I used to have to do the laundry outside and the piles used to get sky high cause I hated going back and forth. I’m much better at it now 😉

Do you guys ever play your video games together? I don’t think I recall ever reading that you have. I love cream of wheat. My kids seem to love grits more. Can you imagine that? I never even really had anything to do with grits before I moved to Georgia. Must be a southern thing.

Comfort food. My washer is inside…my dryer is in the storage room off the car port..so I have had to go through rain to do that… annoying!!! and I am having such a hard time NOT going and getting the xbox or ps3… i’m dieing for it now. I dont have any good games to play right now… wii just doesnt cut it anymore. 🙁 augh!!!

laundry sucks period…add rain = super sucky!!! i hope you get it done quick so you dont have to keep going out in the rain… better yet… made baboo should do it… lol 😉

That would not be fun, having to do laundry like that. But way to be productive!!!

cream of wheat is so gross!!! years ago when i had oral surgery, and my mouth was wired shut, i had to eat that shit all watered down thru a tube thru the back of my teeth. the thought of it now makes my stomach turn. 🙁

Aww. You found a raincoat for your pup?? How cute is that. Pix may need one. Hehe!! I used to loveee cream of wheat and ate it daily as a kid. Now I can’t. Texture issues. I’m a whacko. Can’t have anything that feels weird in my mouth! Hahaahahaha.
