no more crack?! *Edit

I ran out of "crack" crackers.

I’m sad.

I went online to try and make an appointment, but there are no appointments before the one I already have (on the 23rd).

So there is that.

Also, they have a FAQ that says:

Q.

What is an urgent symptom?

A.
An urgent care need is one that requires prompt medical attention, usually within 24 to 48 hours, but is not an emergency medical condition. Examples of urgent care situations include:

  • minor injuries
  • sore throats and upper respiratory symptoms
  • earaches
  • coughs
  • backaches
  • frequent urination or burning sensation when urinating

I don’t have any of that, therefore I do not need to go into urgent care.

I’d rather not have a male doctor poking around my vagina, so just changing my doctor to get a sooner appointment or going in and trying to get a same day appointment with whoever is there is really not something I want to do.

I promised Baboo that if I had any pain or whatever, I’d go.

Right now I’m just moody.

and enough of that.

I really want some crackers.

*Edit:

So I found a place on the website where I can send my Dr. a message, so I just sent this:

Hello,

I have an appointment for a Pap Smear on October 23rd, but I wanted to know if I needed to go in sooner due to some issues I have recently had. My symptoms include:

*Daily pressure in my abdomen on the lower right side
*Intermittent pain (not gas related) in that area and region
*Late period (I am never late, but my last cycle was a week late) with large clots and increased pain.

My family is worried that there is something wrong, but I don’t want to go to urgent care if it is something that can wait until my appointment on the 23rd.

Thank you for your help,
Monique Doucette

We’ll see if she responds…

they probably will recommend that you go to urgent care “just in case” since doctors usually go by the better safe than sorry thing! i guess if you do go to urgent care you can get it over with sooner!

Writing them an email like that was a good idea. They better respond. That should take care of things with Baboo and it should let you know what you should do. Whether you do it or not is up to you, but at least you will know if you should.

I’m glad you at least emailed your doctor!

The e-mail was a great idea. I have a feeling that she is going to want to see you sooner than the 23rd, though. But…thats a good thing, right?

sometimes things are urgent and you just don’t know it. Jeez- don’t you ever watch HOUSE? Haven’t you seen the 20 foot long intestinal worm, or the pins shoved into the girls skull, or the unfaithful wife who caught African Sleeping Sickness from her lover or the guy dying because he was using pigeon sh!t as fertilizer for his weed crops? Seriously.. it could be urgent and you don’t have a clue!

Yes…I’m sure your doctor will tell you to go in sooner, if for no other reason than to cover her butt.

good good super good job that you left your doctor an email. 🙂

that is awesome you can email your doctor! technolgy is so cool!

October 1, 2009

I think that was exactly what you should have done! Just contact the doctor and ask what she thinks… perfectly worded.

YAY! This makes me happy. :o)

That’s awesome that you can email your doctor! I’d be doing that shit all the time, haha!

I have some poppy seed crackers at home and ranch flavored crispers which are prackers (part cracker and part chip.) I hope that everything is ok with your health.
