I need to bitch

Ugh, I forgot that there was something I wanted to bitch about but OD didn;t save it.

So, the "coalition" of unions has negotiated an early retirement deal that includes NONE of their employees have to take the mandatory unpaid days off.

Guess who is in a union that ISN’T part of the coalition?

yep… MY ASS.

Yay for being management! We get a union that doesn’t fight for us! Whee! We must have so much money, we don’t need that piddly little day. oh no. oh no. (As a matter of fact, the head of my union even said that we should just take the furlough. We get a 3% raise, doesn’t that make you feel better? UH NO! THEY ARE TAKING 10% OF MY PAY, SO THAT MEANS THEY GET EVEN MORE WITH A RAISE YOU DOLT!)

Whatever.

So all of my staff is free from furloughs. Good for them.

I still have to take mine and my boss is lobbying for us management types to keep our 9 hour days and get a day off every week. It will suck, but it will at least have a perk of a 4 day work week for a while.

I’ll take it.

damn it all.

and hopefully, if my brother stays with me (My sisters have taken to destroying his stuff, which is horrible) I will get some help, at least with food, so that’ll ensure that we’ll be ok in the upcoming months.

If it works out even better, we might move.

He is 15 and he needs his own room. If not, I’m gonna seperate the living room and stuff… did I write about this? I don’t even know anymore…

So if we get some monetary help, I’ll either ask to get the room that the one girl moved out of (but it has bugs and shiz, which I’m not sure I want to deal with…) or we’ll move to a place with 3 bedrooms.

We’ll see.

I’m not counting on that though.

I’d like to know ASAP because that boy can EAT. ha ha…. I am not sure I can afford to keep feeding him at a healthy pace. ha ha!
