Gushing about Vegas!

So now I shall write a happy bouncey overly excited (and probably annoying) Las Vegas entry!

Wheee!!!!

I don’t know what to do with myself. It’s coming up so fast!!!!

It HAS felt like forever, so I can’t even say time is flying, because it’s moving just as slow as Dexter the Snail!

Baboo and I are definitely going shopping today. We are going to end up at the mall (and I utterly DESPISE the freakin mall of cesspool dooooooooom!!!!) and I hope we find something cute.

For him, I want a nice sorta sporty casual but also somewhat refined look with a nice button up shirt in either a dark or light blue. I’m thinking of a sorta dusty blue because that is the color I want. he will probably wear brown pants and his new brown shoes.

I am going to get a shirt in a similar color. I also want something either tailored with buttons or in the "peasant blouse" look because it hides evil muffin tops! I want to find some nice khaki jeans or something to go with. I also need to find a nice black shirt to wear on my birthday. Black should go nicely with the burnt orange shirt he wants to wear.

I wonder if it’ll be hot there…

 I also need new shoes… probably some wedge sandals or something, but I probably won’t get them today. I need something that will be comfortable to walk around a lot in, but still cute and not as casual as tennis shoes. I wish I could wear my heels, but I’d have those things off in two seconds and I walk like a chicken with a stick in its butt!

I will also be buying a small purse with a long strap (so I can put in the cross over the shoulder position that stops it from getting snatched or falling off easily). I want something cute and probably black. Just big enough for the essentials while I’m walking around.

I was looking up the gambling on the Lasvegas.com site and it has some "how to’s" that I want to read. I want to learn how to play this mai (pai?) gow (pan chow whatever the hell) poker. It’s supposed to be fun and not suck all your money out. ha ha! We’ll see. I’ll probably just play a few games on a machine and get discouraged and cry and go do something else.

I sorta want to float around the floor and look. but I get nervous. Is it weird to just look and not bet? One of the tips is to watch whatever game you want to play for a while and to not get upset when the Pit Bosses bug you cuz they get paid to think your cheating… or something.

I’ll cry if they bother me! I’ll just cry!!!! 

 It’s gonna be so fun for me… the only thing I’m a little scared of is all the people.

I will be with Baboo and I’ll be liquored up most of the time and maybe MAYBE it won’t bother me…

but still.

I am not sure what to expect and how I’ll handle it.

I’m the least scared of the flight there than I am of actually walking into a casino and having to know what I’m doing. Thank God Baboo has been there and knows how to navigate,c uz I’d be a big deer in the headlights, flashing target on my forehead mess!!!!

the closest I’ve really been to a casino are the small ones they have in Laughlin and we’d pass them on the way to the buffet and our hotel room when my family would go there every summer.

I sorta wish I was skinnier already so I could get a cute swimsuit and play in a pool!

But I’m still a butterball and I shall NOT be putting on any swimsuits!

Plus, I have to fit like a decades worth of SEEING THE STUFFS!!!! into 3 days and 2 nights, so we’ll be busy!

My itenerary is looking jam packed and we’ll probably only do half of it. but I’m prioritizing things to what I simply HAVE TO SEE and do and then other things that would be "nice" if we get around to it.

It’s pretty cool that we won’t have to check out of the hotel until late so we’ll probably have lots of fun on Sunday too!!! I don’t want to go there worrying to death about money, but I will be trying to budget things out so we don’t run out of funds before sunday and end up not being able to do anything… ha ha.

GAH! SO EXCITED!!!!!

I hope Baboo dances with me.
