15 Days! Dexter is over halfway there!

So excited!!!!

 

Alright, alright. I’ve got my whining session out of the way, now on to the joy and the fun that was last night.

I say that with sarcasm and also with literal conviction.

there was joy , and there was fun.

there was also JOY and FUN!

ha ha.

Ok, so after work yesterday I headed directly home. I jumped into the sink of dishes (ha ha) but only got half of them done. I really wish I had a dishwasher. At least I could hide them! Oh well. I will try to do the rest tonight… we’ll see.

I had barely enough time to gather up the stuff to return the mp3 player (I didn’t throw the packaging away! thank god I’m paranoid and packrattish! I keep packaging for months though… that’s probably extreme…). Thank goodness that went off without a hitch.

The manager asked me if there was something wrong with it and I told him that I was really unsatisfied with the battery life and he was like "ok, that’s fine" and they put the money back on my card! Whoo! My calculations are that with that refund PLUS the norton refund, it pays for my new mp3 player and I am not hurt financially too much.

so anyway, I had to zip over to get Baboo cuz I was gonna be late… and the dumb traffic didn’t help! I was 10 minutes behind schedule and had to do stupid driving before (meaning, not being able to find him, having to turn around, trying to talk on the phone with speaker cuz i can’t talk and drive and i can’t find my blue tooth which sucks anyway and just getting all stressed!) we finally met up. Baboo was in a grouch mood and so was i! hahaha.

One good thing at least is that I’m learning how to be quiet and he doesn’t take his grouch out on me too much. I could see us just fighting like crazy bitches in any other circumstance, so I’m glad we know each other well enough.

We stopped at Ralphs for the chicken (for chinese chicken salads, so it was the pre cooked little packages) and beer. whee!

When we got home I was fussing about the front gate and trying to unlock my front door when barreling around the corner came my new neighbor!

I didn’t get a chance to see her when she first spoke to me cuz she was standing in her room behind a screen door with the light shining on it, so it was like staring at a wall that talked. ha! Her voice was rough and i figured she was a smoker. she didn’t look ANYTHING like I thought. She is … heavyset (is that a nice way to say it? I’m not trying to be a hater) and has dark hair and tan skin. I thougth she was gonna be some older, skinny as a toothpick, overly tanned, fake boobed bimbo (cuz those are the type of people Eddie likes to rent to, if ti’s gonna be a girl). I also got this image from her sporty bmw with a vanity license plate that says something obnoxious like hieveryone or something like that….

but I got a really positive vibe from her. I didn’t want to hate her at all.  And normally, I want to hate everyone, especially girls…. So that’s good!

Anyway, she has a weird name (I don’t remember it!) and she gave me her phone number. Her name is like Sheemie… or something. I don’t know. Anyway, she was really talkative and outgoing. She said that she is having issues with Tyler, the guy she shares a kitchen with. I guess he got all pissy about her cooking in his kitchen. Oops! So she bought herself a hotplate and washes dishes in her tub. That just sucks.

In my vain attempt at being nice I offered her the use of my stove if she needed it.

Jeepers Creepers!!!

That means I will definitely have to clean. I have a feeling she’ll like to visit. *ugh groan*

but she’s not like… annoyingly nice… yet… hahahah.

she said she wanted to buy an above ground pool for the backyard (I had been thinking of the same thing if we stayed long enough ha ha)… so that would be cool. The boys would just love that to pieces!

so anyway, I gave her my number too and that was that.

I think she’ll sorta like me cuz I’m nicer than Tyler. ha ha. Oh well!

anyway, Baboo and I went in and I made our salads and we started to watch the Death Note movie.

Oh, I also got into the line for the Norton Customer Service chat.

Take note that it was about 8:30.

I REALLY LIKED the Death Note movie. The english dubbing is really horrible (and I might watch it again with the japanese just to get a feel for how it’s really supposed to sound) but it had the voices from the anime which gave me good memories. I might seriously have to buy that series. It’s just really cool. Baboo is coming over again tonight so we can watch part two! hee hee!!!

Anyway, the movie ended at around 10:38… and guess what.. Iwas only about number 10 in the que. Yes, it took over 2 hours to get help. I started at number 77. What a crock.

So FINALLY when the fool finally gets to me, it takes, no lie at LEAST 5 to 10 minutes between responses. I immediately asked for a refund. he had to get my information. 10 minutes. then he needed to set up a case id. another 10. then he needed to check details again (and put me on hold!!!) 20 minutes. then he finally was able to process the refund but wanted to know if I wanted to use norton on my other computers. NO!!!!

So about 45 minutes later (and about 10 lines of chat, no lie) it’s all finished. It’s gonna still take 5 to 10 days to get my money back, but as long as it gets BACK… i’m happy.

That took way too long. I didn’t get a follow up survey, which really sucks, cuz I wanted to tell them their stupid customer service chat sucks. It made me all sorts of pissy and I know they get a lot of people to just give up with the length of time it takes. At one point in the chat I told him to hurry up cuz I had waited over 2 hours. He was like "Ok." *blink*

I hope I never have to do that again. I know I have some favs who do that.. but seriously… does it actually take 10 minutes to say "okay"… REALLY?!!!!

I wanted to stab and KILL.

Argh!

During this time Baboo went to take a shower. Baboo was also drunk boy and being silly.

He acted like he was just going to go to sleep.

i was sad, I was not going to get any nookie!

I went to take a shower (Baboo commented earlier that I was losing weight! So I guess he can see it even if my scale says otherwise! woohoo!) and came out feeling really tired.

but when I went to lay down, baboo lifted up his shirt to expose his nakedness (it was actually MY shirt… and it’s huge like a nightshirt and he looked positively adorable in it. ha ha)… and he was quite… ready for a romp… if you know what I’m saying!!!! (gnome sayin!!!!)

And that romp will be reserved for it’s own entry.

Some of you may be relieved.

Ok, so I need toe at some breakfast. I’m starving.

I am going to the gym today.

i’m sorta excited.
