Rundown Part 1

Ok, this is gonna be a bullety goodness entry with a rundown of the long weekend. If I have more to spout about, I’ll do that later.

This is also the stuff touched on in my video entry. If you didn’t watch it, it’s cool. You’re not missing much. ha ha.

*Friday after work I took Jonathon to the doctor. Turns out he has allergies. The doctor pointed out that a part of his eye was swelling up and that we should discontinue use of the other eyedrops and try another one for allergies.

*I saw Hot Co worker in the waiting room at the hospital! That was funny. His wife and daughter were there. Such a cute family. His wife is very pretty, she almost looks like she should be his sister because they look a lot alike. Ha. But yeah, she’s very pregnant, but the cute kind where it’s mostly baby. Lucky guy.

*After that we stopped and got some gas and some Del Taco. I went home and watched the Lakers Game. I wasn’t feeling very great. Him and I didn’t really talk much. He went out somewhere and I was just not feeling good, so I went to bed pretty early.

*No drunken phone calls. I was sorta expecting one, but it’s all good. We sorta reached our peak of stress on Friday. After that the tension seemed to release. I don’t know. Things were very nice between us this weekend.

*Saturday morning I started my period. It sucked because I was going to that party and I knew I would be miserable. My back was killing me and I had an evil headache that wouldn’t let me sleep in.

*He called around 8ish and all of a sudden he was saying he wanted to go the party! WOW!!! I really didn’t think he’d seriously want to come, and there was going to be some conflicts because I was going to have to pick up my mom and sister and not have enough seats in my car. But she ended up taking my little sisters car and all was well.

* I got really happy when he said he wanted to come. This would be pretty huge since he’d be meeting my whole family. I wasn’t planning on introducing him as my boyfriend just yet. Honestly, I really want to make sure this lasts before I subject him OR my family to it. My family has seen me fail time and time again. I really don’t want them to see me fail again. I also don’t want him to feel put on the spot so early on. If we last half a year, that’s one thing. but one month is really nothing to most people. So I have kept it pretty low key and if things stay on track (as I’m seriously hoping they do, but I can’t be sure what he feels) then maybe at the end of the year things will upgrade outwardly…

*speaking of lasting… WE MADE IT ONE MONTH! *BALLOONS AND PARTY HORNS* That makes me happy. so happy. I smile a lot because of it.

*I went to pick him up and we went to Target near his house to get some snacks for the movie and also to get presents. I got my nephew a power ranger. Jacob was pulling the "I’m a spoiled brat, watch me scream and cry in the store" routine and I was tempted to not get him anything. The little monster!

*After that we went to my brothers house. My brother and one of his friends were playing Guitar Hero when we got there. I introduced him to everyone that was there, but the rest of my family hadn’t arrived. My 18 year old sister and 23 (almost) year old brother arrived and i introduced them. no big. I started to play some Guitar Hero when the rest of my family arrived. DARN IT! I was trying to focus and was a bit rude to "him" since I didn’t just stop playing when they arrived. I feel bad about that, making him stand there waiting for my dumbass to finish playing to introduce. And then I was dumb and introduced them as my "mommy and daddy" ha ha… whatever. There will be other times, perhaps, for more formal names.

*Food was served (Pulled pork sandwhiches and grilled chicken). Him and I went into the room with all the kids to eat and after a while my dad came in and started asking a few questions. Just who exactly he was (he thought we were neighbors. ha ha) and how long we had been friends and where he was from. I could tell that "he" was a little nervous because he was talking differently. Oh! and he asked where we met and he said "online?!" ha ha… yeah. *sigh* Oh daddaaaay. We got interrupted in the middle cuz they started opening presents. I was a little disappointed. I was happy my dad was showing some interest (my step mom sort of hid from him) and I dunno. I wanted my dad to know him, because he is such a wonderful soul.

*So anyway, presents were opened and the kids loved everything. I ended up getting Jacob an Indiana Jones whip that makes noise, a few action figures, his movie day and he’ll get his dinner of choice on Thursday. My dad got him an action figure and a 50 dollar gift card for Toys R Us. My brother got him an R2-D2 learning game thing that looks like a laptop. Super cute. My brothers Roommate Heidi got him an outfit. Not bad, not bad.

*Had some delicious Ice cream cake with chocolatey fudge icing and chocolate cake and chocolate chip ice cream. MMM! Homemade! Yum! "He" really liked it, but I think he overloaded. After he ate (and bonded with their little dog a bit, ha ha) he went into the front room with the boy type children and was playing video games with them. My step mom asked where he was (My dad had left a little before that) and was like "I hope he doesn’t think we’re ignoring him!"

*I figured he was not up to really being too into the huge familiness that was there. I can relate to that. I didn’t know what to do to make him feel more welcome and I didn’t want to drag him into the room with me if he needed space to breathe. However, he ended up staying in the video game room for awhile and fell asleep on the couch. Oh well, it was alright. I could tell he wasn’t exactly in his element. I know I’d feel the same way if I was around his family. So it was all good. I haven’t asked any of my family for reactions, but I’m sure I’ll hear something from my step mom soon enough.

*We left there a little after 6 and stopped at Wal Mart and the gas station before we went home. I just needed some womanly items and so the boys stayed in the car. I found some chocolate candy bars that I know he likes and so I bought them. 🙂

*We got home and we were going to watch this movie he had bought (after the kids had showered and went to bed), but it wasn’t in the case! Damn! It looked interesting too! So we ended up watching Pulse, which I like, and he seemed to like it too. about the dead people who come through the electronic signal virus blah blah blah.

*When that was over we started to make out a little bit. Me being "off limits" doesn’t make HIM off limits. So I had a delicious time giving him a BJ… and was it delicious? OH yes. I don’t know if the cake had anything to do with it, but it was the sweetest ever. RAWR.

*Then we went to sleep. Have I mentioned that Isimply love sleeping next to him? I do. It’s so nice and he smells so good and I feel so safe and happy.

So this is longer than I thought so I’ll end here so I can get to some work… ha ha… I’ll be back!
