5 Months old! Jonathon Update!

I went to Hells R Us… er, I mean, Toys R Us to find Jonathon a highchair. He really needs one, especially since he’s totally into solid foods now. He loves fruits and peas… carrots are alright.. and sweet potatoes make him go “mmm mmm mmm”… hee hee. Well, I found the cutest one… and of course they were OUT OF THEM.. damn it. It was even on sale (I ended up going to Target and getting a cheaper one that was pretty comparable… just no snack tray and toy holders)… so I ended up buying a walker… which I was sure they didn’t make anymore, but they do, obviously. They are a lot safer with a guard that keeps them from going up or down slopes and other neato stuff like that. It has this cute little cloud adventure toy set that sits on the tray. He loves it! He got in there and started chasing the cat almost immediately. No going backward and hitting the wall for him! He just goes straight and even has a bit of skill in turning. *gushing with pride* He knows how to work all of the toys, even this damn star that you push and it plays “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star”… I hate that song now, by the way.

My son is a spoiled brat. Not only does he have the Cloud Adventure Walker, he has the Farm Bouncy Chair, a Car kick and play center toy-a-majiggy… he also has a swing with little toys on it. Every room of the house has a big ole baby toy! hee hee… I keep having to restrain myself from buying him a toy every time I’m in the store. It could get pricy, and then I’d be broke.I hope he gets lots of stuff for Christmas. He has so much fun playing. I just squeal and clap and get more excited than I think he does. When I was putting together his walker I was just jazzed and he kept screaming and bouncing in his bouncy chair… so I was inducing him into a frenzy. It was so cute.

He’s growing more hair and his eyes are so beautiful. They are a light brownish green with a purple band around the outside. It’s very interesting… I don’t know where he gets it from!

He loves talking, along with Ba-ba.. he also has something that sounds like Ba-Da… so he’s expanding his vocabulary nicely.

He wakes me up on weekends by pinching my face and screaming…=)

He loves to hold soft stuffed animals to his face.

He adores our pets, especially the dog. He gets really excited when we let him pet them, he screams and laughs… i want him to have a puppy so bad!!!! but he can’t have one just yet. For now he just chases them in his walker, they better watch out when he really become mobile!

He gets excited to see me now. he starts to bounce and smiles at me. Last night he was in his walker and he zoomed across the floor to me and held out his arms. Of course I cried.

I love him so much. He’s getting so big. i get a new surprise every day. My little miracle. Five months old already.

*sniffle*
