Damn, I suck. I told my dad I’d help him today and tomorrow, but I couldn’t take the days off from work. He called wondering where I was this morning. I feel awful even though I know it doesn’t bother him. He cares more that I’m okay and acting inconsiderately because I’m inconsiderate rather than incapacitated or something. My boss approved me taking two days off next week, so I’m definitely going to get there this time. I’m too damn busy at work, but it’s only going to get worse. So I’d better take a couple of days that will impact my current projects the least.
