I don’t have much to do at work. This is really really weird. Really Really. Since I am no longer responsible for testing the main application I work on and the tester is on vacation, I don’t have anything I can do with that now. I don’t have much to do for support since a lot of the bugs have been fixed or a easy to handle when they pop up. I am pretty much done updating the manual for it. The auditors have tied our hands so we can’t do much for enhancements even if I could start working on the next new release before this one goes out. The other application I was recruited to work on was released while I was on vacation and that went well, so there’s nothing for me to do there.
Maybe I could actually go back to thinking about the rest of my life. I could start remembering what the hell I need to do other than work and go to school. Wow, I’ve been wanting that for soooo long. The only problem is I need to work when I’m at work. If I don’t, I have to look busy, and then I’m deceiving Mr. Prick. Maybe support will pick up again after lunch.
One of the things I would like to do is stay more aware of what’s going on with the town government. The problem is that I can’t seem to remember from one month to the next to check for the Town Manager’s report. The election is tomorrow and there are six ballot questions to vote on. I may write about that later.
Okay, I know this sounds weird, but I hate it when there is nothing to do at work, and you’re stuck either looking like a slacker, or trying to look busy. That drives me crazy. Local government can be pretty interesting to get involved in, but also frustrating. Are you using that other site now?

So, now that we don’t share a journal site at all, does that mean I’m not to expect insightful comments from you anymore? 🙁 Okay, this is really a cheap ploy to get you to come comment my journal, but I really do miss your comments! 🙂
