Entry #2 [Journal Series]

I just tasted a crumb from a cracker. It was not the tasteless food morsel that I have grown accustomed to — it was was a tasty morsel that I had never noticed before . I felt the taste surge forth from that crumb and it shocked my mouth. I thought I could actually feel its effects and it helped me imagine a starving time… it seemed so real, as though it might happen to me in the future or maybe it was just a slap from reality, but either way it had its effect on me. – [October 5th, 1994..20:08]-
