– Still Kickin’ —

I have been here daily but have left very few notes.

Just haven’t had anything to post.

The Wife Unit had cataract surgery in the left eye and three weeks later the right eye. She is doing well.

The oldest grandson has decided that I might be a “Resource” for his high school history class. He has started asking about things that happened in the 1950s.

I have given him a few hits as to what he could “google”.

I also told him that he knows where a shoe will be planted if he asks me if I knew anyone who stepped ashore on Plymouth Rock.

It’s amazing what kids think sometimes. To your grandson, 1950 is probably the oldest thing he has ever thought of. Truth be told, I learned more about American History by working in a photo lab at a Walgreens than I did in school, thanks to a few customers with very very old photographs, slides, ect that took the time to share them with me (stories as well). I hope that someday my generation
