– Here we go again 2 –
I wont bore you with photos again but I Am Getting Too Old For This Excrement!
Got everything off the back porch/deck and stored for the winter.
Moved the recycle bins onto the porch and covered them.
Got the snow blower on the porch also.
Wife-Unit asked why?
I have to shovel to get it out from where its kept; besides I can plug it in easier to get it started using only one short extension cord.
It doesnt look very nice sitting there (or something like that) the Wife-Unit said.
Thought to myself Looks better than me having a heart attack and lying face down in the snow!
Having the blower there on the porch is notice to the snow gods that you are ready at any time to clean up their mess(es). Best wishes for having a good winter.

Makes perfect sense to me to have it accessible when the need arises. Necessities have changed for me and surely do for all of us sooner or later. Hope your winter is mild…hope ours is too!

I guess it’s a guy-thing, but it makes perfect sense to me, also.

I’m so lazy, it’s a good thing that we don’t have snow here in Austin…..well maybe a light dusting of the stuff every few years.

keep it handy; who could find it under 6″ of snow when needed?

Why don’t you have the wife-unit knit a snowblower cozy for it. That way it will look good on the front porch – and give the wife-unit something to do. Wil

Women… sometimes they don’t make sense.

I’d put it in the exact same spot! 😉

I take my hat off to you folks in the cold winter climates. I wonder where the energy comes from to all the winter demands. Take care. Despite the wife-unit, haha, do only what you feel you have energy to do, please.

I think it’s a brilliant idea to have your snow blower in a convenient place! You having a heart attack wouldn’t look good out there either, so snow blower would be my choice! Take care, be careful and stay warm.

One of the most insightful scenes in a movie was in the silent Buster Keaton film “The General”. Buster is driving the engine “the General” in a in a spirited nerve wracking chase sequence. His love interest is also in the engine cab..she is sweeping out the dirt with a broom! Those early directors sure knew how to fit a lot into a limited medium….here is a good copy you can view for free..http://www.archive.org/details/The_General_Buster_Keaton
