– Someone Suggested –

Yes, “Someone Suggested’ that since I mentioned the “Tree In The Trailer” I should post a photo of it. So since I had nothing better to do, I did!

I was also told that I should show the tree growing through the floor of the trailer.

As you can see the tree is inside the angle iron that is the end of the trailer

This is one of four doves that regularly visit. They normally are ground feeders but occasionally they will land and feed directly from the feeder I built that is suspended from a tree branch.

This one alit on the ground and when I brought the camera up to my eye it flew up onto the top of the gate to the dog pen. As you can see it is giving me the eye trying to decide if I was hostile.

It sat there watching me for a couple of minutes and then flew down to the ground inside the dog pen.

The Chickadee and the White Breasted Nuthatch look a lot alike.

The Nuthatch has a black stripe on its skull that ends well above its eyes. Its back is a grayish blue.

The Chickadee has a black skull cap that covers the head to the bottom of its eyes. Its back is a brownish grey.

End of Birding Lesson.

Love the pictures of the birds and especially the dove: it’s so clear I can almost feel the softness of those feathers. Interesting about the tree; thanks for posting them all.. Hugs
